Funky Spice in Wellingborough

Food is always delicious and can't fault that at all, shame they no longer have the restaurant but its still our no. 1 Indian to go to. Need to be clearer why orders are cancelled or take options off from Uber and only having one person on a Friday night cooking is not really acceptable. We had to wait 25mins after we had already been notified food was ready. Again the chap cooking was lovely and no fault of his, he did a fab Job but needs to be run better. The takeaway premises need a little tlc too as it always makes me feel like I shouldn't like food from here as looks run down, not what we experienced in the previous restaurant, appearances still matter even for a takeaway.

Absolutely disgusting frozen food you get from tesco was so disapointed with my order and the manager was so rude on the phone will never order from here again very disappointing you deserve 0 stars !!!!

Every time we’ve ordered from funky spice the food’s been amazing! Always piping hot and tastes great. We have multiple dietary requirements which funky spice have always handled amazingly and the allergens are clearly marked on the containers so we can sort the food out quickly when it gets to us. We prefer to order through the takeaway instead of through just eat as it’s always been much quicker and the delivery drivers are always super friendly and polite!

Food was overpriced and chicken tika was very watery, bland and chicken was dry and bland. The rice was floating in water. Went in the bin, never buying there again

Having read various reviews, I was looking forward to something really good. The reality was something rather poor. The spices on the chicken tikka were undercooked, leaving a raw flavour. The veggie curry had almost no veg in it (one bit of potato, two green beans and some onion. The biryani rice was heavy on the tomato with little flavour. The chicken naganzi also had a raw, undercooked taste to it. The only really good thing was the garlic naan and the Bombay potato.

Great food and brilliant service...food is always on point ... favourite dishes: Chicken Tikka Kandari and the Achari Roast Chicken and Lamb.

Lovely food. If u after authenticity, then this is the place.

My first visit. Lovely family meal. Nice atmosphere , friendly staff , at last found a Madras Curry with some flavour.Well done Funky Spice.

Absolutely great Indian food at murderousky low prices. It would be a crime not to pay them a visit!!
