Meraz Tandoori and Balti Indian Takeaway in Wellingborough

Special biryani was really great including sundries. Delivery a little slow at 45 mins. Definitely will order again.

I'm a regular and I've never had a bad meal, food is always hot and always delicious, good value for money and always arrives within 30-45 minutes.

UDATE - JANUARY 2022. Still using this awesome Meraz Takeaway which continues to serve up THE most delicious dishes ever - IMHO - the best takeaway in town!My family has been enjoying takeaways from Meraz since, I believe, about 1987 - the food has always been the best. I'm considering moving to Earls Barton just to be nearer them!

Great Christmas decorations and reasonable staff ok but ignore people jumping the queues

I really like the food from this place. Sometimes you have to wait, but they are cooking it fresh, which is why it tastes so good. I have previously had trouble paying by card, older guy doesn't like cards, but during pandemic, this seems to have stopped.

Just stuffed my face! I was told 40 minutes delivery time, at my door at 44 minutes, food hot and plentiful, well worth it, now looking at an empty plate but satisfied. Order with confidence.

I live in Earls Barton, After not receiving my simple order of a chicken rap, it has now been an hour and 10 minutes so I rang up and said there’s no excuse, it’s not like I live 10 miles down the road, he said okay I said I won’t use them again and then hang up the phone. Nice and simple but what sort of customer service is that no apology or desire to put it right, I really won’t use them again and would not recommend

Exceptional curries, the Korzi lamb special is as good as I have ever had. I do love a Meraz and have never been tempted away!!

Five star review.What Indian restaurant can you walk into and say that you want something that's not on the menu and make it to your standards now Meraz Indian Takeaway succeeds in doing this.... They made me a curry hotter than a Phal Vindaloo with fresh green chillies and a very bespoke order they went out of there way and made it for me.... Even on a busy night.The staff are always happy and make you walk away with a smile on your face also.The size of the portions could be a little bigger for the price that your paying. But I suppose as its a small village it convenience rather than anything so they can charge what ever they want for good quality food.The menu is good and a lot to choose fromFor a disabled ♿ person they might find it hard to maneuver around the shop floor.

EXCELLENTI have never had to complain about this place. Ever. The food is consistently the best, which is not surprising considering the chef has won awards for being the best in the UK.Even when items are not on the menu they will endeavour to provide your meal requests and the deliveries are always at a good speed and the food and a good price.
