Ock n Dough in Wellingborough

Lovely lunch today. We had the gammon and a burger, both very very good. Service was quick and welcoming, Hannah and Charlie served us. We'll bee back again for sure.

What a great local. Friendly employees. Very clean environment. We had Sunday breakfast into Sunday brunch. Very reasonably priced at £5.49 for a full English breakfast. U can't get better. It would be 5star but unfortunately the breakfast could have been hotter. We will certainly be going there again. 💯

Went out for food tonight with my friends, my server was Amy and she was so kind, she had a massive smile on her face and really helped to set the happy mood for my food! Really made my night having a good server really helps. She was amazing!

Issues placing order, lady put order through for 3 starters when all we wanted was 2 additional dips with 1 starter. When we noticed this she had to put the whole order through again. Little did we know, she placed the order before we paid and the starters came without out mains (as we'd asked for). No sauce with the steak, no steak knife, chips arrived with a main that was meant to replace a side salad. On checking the receipt, we'd been charged extra! Not cutlery until after the food arrived (and having to ask for them). Even the waiter was getting annoyed at the situation. Its not the first bad experience but its the first we've documented. We won't won't returning as it's clearly just the way things are. It might only be a hungry horse but when you're spending £70+ (or any amount) service shouldn't be lacking just because its a cheap chain. Not worth the cheap cost of the meals.

Visited the ock yesterday for the first time. Really recommend to anyone looking for a good quality meal. The service was great with good communication. I was served throughout the night by Tommy who was perfect with his service.I will be returning, Thank you

Started coming to this pub a few months ago and really like coming here. Food it great. And the staff are friendly and helpful. The manager of the pub is lovely and excellent. Hes done and doing a grand job of running the pub. A++++

We had gone to about 6 different pubs in the area, and none were serving food until 6 (without warnings online). With a hungry pregnant wife, I was close to losing my life, however the Ock n Dough saved my skin. We assumed they would not let dogs inside, but they actually invited us indoors when they noticed we were outside.Really easy app to order from, lovely food and staff there. Very very very happy with experience, thoroughly recommend, and will be going again before we leave 😊
