Nice pub...friendly staff...Great beer garden out the back

Nice but sticky floors and there was a ABBA tribute not my cuppa tea but we all had a great night none the less

This is a great place to socialise with friends and family and the decor is lovely. They have a nice events room and bar at the back which is a great space to have a party

Looks lovely now it's been renovated and clean, and really enjoy the events they put on. Toilets could do with more checks throughout an evening and something different on the tvs other than sport would be goodx not quite sure it feels like that kind of pub but it's a small venue but nice for a good evening out

Nice looking pub with a decent menu including some veggie options. The wrap was substantial. Loses a point for running out of doombar and other draught bitter.

Nice pub but had a terrible experience with customer service recently. We were told our cocktails we ordered were infact shots (despite them being on the cocktail section of the menu, not the separate section for shots) with no acknowledgment of the menu error. I was asked to change my order, whilst my friend was simply not served his drinks as staff assumed he would not want them. My replacment 'purple rain' was blue - clearly missing an ingredient. As was the 'cherry bakewell' which was served with no cherry flavour (£7 for amaretto and coke), as the bar had ran out. None of this was communicated. After this shortage, we were then served incorrect drinks as staff took it upon themselves to change our orders to cater to their lack of spirits. We also witnessed staff shouting innapropriately at other customers whilst taking an order.This is a shame as The Horseshoe is normally a great night out. The reason for the two stars is due to the great customer service of Charlie who has since redeemed my opinion of the pub with a brilliant welcoming attitude, friendliness and a clear passion for bartending. Thank you Charlie.

I was kicked out for no reason. I couldn't hear one of the members of staff so I guess I had to leave. Unfortunately for her I could remember what happened so I couldn't be that drunk can I? I was trying to order a drink as well so I guess they didn't want my money? If I wasn't allowed to than why not say instead of getting your fragile little ego hurt because I couldn't hear you. You made me leave a bad impression on people because they didn't know where I was and when I walked back in to get my bag she looked at me like I am A disgrace. Seriously not impressed and not going back there again.

Came here on a Friday night, the wait staff were very friendly and the outside area was very accommodating to our larger party size, they could do with a speaker or there so we could hear the music but still able to talk to each other. Very good prices on drinks
