The Stags Head in Wellingborough

Nice pretty pub with friendly and welcoming staff. A group of us stopped here for a quick drink before moving on and we enjoyed sitting out in the beer garden.

Booked a table for Mother’s Day, wanted to add one child and they can’t accommodate, but kept the deposit despite having a waiting list! I can understand keeping the deposit if the tables not reallocated… but not if it is!

Been here a few times, the meals are always lovely but its the staff that really make this place a success.

Been here a few times now. Always good food, BUT, the price has gone up considerably, hence 4 stars not 5. A tad too expensive for me now. Might reconsider using again

Lovely place, super nice staff. Super dog friendly. I cannot stress this enough, they do love dogs there (Stella may not agree with this). We had a lovely afternoon and stayed for dinner. Food was great. Will be back soon.

Good service with pleasant staff. Nice decor and a pleasant Ambiance. Good selection of well prepared food, it was a busy day and the food wasn't piping hot, but otherwise great. Would go back again.

I love to find little treasures where you can go for some nice food and take your dog. This is one of those places. Staff were friendly and helpful, even making sure the dog had a bowl of water available. Nice and local is a bonus. Will definitely be back.

I have been twice now, once for the normal menu and another for the Xmas set meal. Both times were really good both food and service. The pub is a very traditional old style coaching Inn. Highly recommended for a swift half of full three course meal.

Food was amazing. Brilliant vale for money too. We had the tapas and all the dishes were delicious. The service was brilliant too. I would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful pub with delicious food and friendly staff. We really appreciated the amount of veggie/vegan options and glad we found a lovely spot to sit in the garden and enjoy the sun with a cold drink.
