Excellent breakfast, great staff. Excellent opening hours, including for alcohol. Could be cheaper drinks

As Google removed my previous 1 star review today I felt the need to put in a 2nd one so the public can see the very poor service we received.Manager incredibly rude and unhelpful, how this premises is 5 star beggars belief, no fridge in room, very basic facilities and no parking (you have to park on a public open car park on separate location to hotel).

Service very good and food was good, however, let down by overcooked fish. Fantastic Crème Brûlée. Reasonable price to. Thank you.

We booked in for 3 nights. On arrival we saw the sign “ 5 STAR and LUXURY Rooms “.The room had no telephone or means of contacting staff.Whilst tea and coffee were provided we had to walk down 2 flights of stairs to get milk !There was a sign about the rubber bath mat but after 3 days they couldn’t provide one.The bedsides lights were so dim as to make it impossible to enjoy reading in bed.Whilst there were 13 amp sockets behind the armchair. Access to the 3 others required moving furniture…the big double bed, the desk and the cupboard !No fruit of any description was available at breakfast time. The housekeeper turned the bed back but never ventured into the bathroom.John McGlynn

My wife and I were in Market Rasen and called in for Lunch. The menu piqued our taste buds and had three courses of varied varieties that was both extremely tasty, filling and well presented! Definitely going to be a regular visitor!

I used to go here alot but I am Really sorry but I had to write this i can't believe how much the price of food has gone up and the quality of food has fallen. Had fish and chips which was very over done batter very crunchy and hardly any fish inside. Heard another lady saying where have the proper chips gone why have you got these silly fries. Coffee was just warm. If you want value for money then go to the aston arms

Thought we would try the Sunday lunch for a change & to celebrate a relations birthday.Very impressed with the high quality of the food, the soup too start was excellent, choose the beef rib main which was cooked to perfection.Friendly helpful staff, we will certainly be revisiting.

Food was good but service was poor. Sharing nibbles pre starter ... plates never brought to table so 4 people had to eat directly from platters.Waitress asked to remove empty drink glasses and unused wine glasses to make room ... said she would come back for them but didn'y. When starters arrived we had to ask for glasses to be cleared, again.Main course delivered but insufficient cutlery on table. Waitress had to be called back and asked to fetch some.At end of meal a birthday cake (brought in by customer) was delivered to table as requested, but no knife to cut it, no serviettes and no plates. Surprisingly we had to request those seperately. As I said, good food, decent dining area let down by inattentive serving staff.

Supposed to be 5 stars but...toilet door in room does not shut 😒. One glass globe on light missing, curtains one 3 inches longer than the other!! Room cold and no extra blanket. On the up side breakfast very good.
