This was a great find when we traveled through Gainsborough yesterday. We only had chips on this occasion, but they were the best we had eaten in many years and the medium portion was enormous. Will definitely return.

This is one of the best fish and chip places in the country by far. Ignore the review about the chips as some people have no clue that potatoes do become poor at certain times of the year and can be small but they still taste good. The fish is first rate and always cooked fresh. The portions are big so a regular chips is probably enough for 2 people. The team that work there are great and very friendly and always thank you when you leave also you do not get ripped off at all with the price even though the portions are large. Many thanks Johnsons always a pleasure to visit you.
