Great pub in a lovely quiet village. Good choice of food, we had the sandwiches which had lots of filling, came with salad and freshly cooked chips.

·

Lovely traditional village pub in an historic thatched building. Great range of beers and good food at reasonable prices. Super staff and great service. Nice restaurant and plenty of outdoor tables for summer days. All good 😎 👍

Just had the most amazing and delicious Sunday roast and choc pot pudding. Dad enjoyed a beautiful fillet steak followed by vanilla ice cream. Every mouthful was so tasty, we thoroughly enjoyed our first meal here. This is definitely on our radar now for further visits. Highly recommend

Lovely meal today, just what we needed, a little time away from our busy lives. Will definitely return.

Good value for money and very tasty. Cheerful service and looks like a pleasant place for a meal.

The Kings Head in Tealby is an absolutely charming historic country pub situated in the small and beautiful village of Tealby, the building dates back to 1367 and boasts the title of the oldest thatched pub in Lincolnshire. I must say that it's been beautifully restored and has retained all of the character of a property this age while still offering all the modern comforts of plush seating and tables inside and large beer garden, seating outside plus good modern restrooms. It offers a very good range of beer's, wines and spirits.Another key feature for me is the restaurant which has an a really wide variety of starters, main courses, desserts plus a specials menu.I have eaten here a couple of times recently and have been really impressed with the quality of the food and the service that I have received.Well worth a visit if you find yourself in the area or for a special occasion. The wheelchair access is good.Credit cards payments are accepted here. They have a 4🌟🌟🌟🌟 food hygiene rating.Food review May 2022.There's a lot choice in terms of food here but I settled for the pan fried duck off the specials board on this occasion, my meal arrived after a short wait and comprised of a perfectly cooked duck breast which was served pink while the skin had been rendered down to remove all the fat keeping it perfectly moist, and delicious👌, it was accompanied with some delicious roasted potatoes which had been cooked in duck fat making them both crispy and delicious, some seared vegetables and a reduction of meat juices nicely seasoned with a hint of fresh orange juice , a really well presented, prepared and enjoyable meal in all.I paid £17.95 for my meal.

Booked here for Sunday lunch after a group walk.It was absolutely faultless..!12 of us ate and all 12 enjoyed the meal.I had a very flavourful fish pie filled with big chunks of salmon and white fish.Everyone ate something different but no one had a bad word.👍The apple crumble was delicious and the portions were generous throughout.Megan our waitress was very polite obliging and friendly thankyou. Will be definitely returning to this beautiful thatched pub/restaurant soon.

Sunday lunch was fabulous. I’m not a massive fan of the usual roast so I was glad to see there were other options. Food arrived at supersonic speed and the steak and kidney pudding was insanely delicious. Staff are lovely.

I enjoyed the medallion of beef, while my hubby and friends had sirloin steak and the lamb. We all agreed it was one of the nicest meals we'd had for a long while. Creme brulee was my sweet choice, again finished off a lovely meal. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and definitely will return.
