Reeds Coffee Shop in West Lindsey

Had to visit Reeds Coffee Shop after having Lunch at Trent Port. We had Cappuccino and Biscofe Cake, Chocolate Orange and MilkshakeLovely little cafe, nice atmosphere and polite staff. Will back Soon

I ordered Espresso and got an Americano in a small cup. For comparison, McDonald's don't make that mistake. Below my expectations for a place that calls itself a "coffee shop".

We travelled from Sheffield to meet friends for a Platinum Jubilee afternoon tea. My word the trip was so worth it. The afternoon tea was scrumptious. We needed a box to take the cakes we couldnt manage to eat home with us. The staff were lovely too. Thank you all xx

Really great breakfast, and the system they have for calling to make your order or get the bill is quite neat, saving us from asking for more time to make our minds up, or waiting to get the bill. But the food was still the best bit

Usually a great place to visit, however we've had 2 very disappointing experiences in the last couple of months. On one occasion service was very slow due to a large number of customers coming on a walk in. The coffee shop was already very full with seating inside and outside in the garden full, and a large group of 20 came and wanted to sit and eat outside on the Riverside for lunch- there are possibly too many tables for the stretched staff to serve. There was a good 30 minute wait for food already.The second time was very disappointing, firstly one of our party was served the wrong drink, then upon our food arriving we were given the wrong food, our party had ordered toasted sandwiches, the cheese and pickle sandwich was mixed up with the ham, cheese and pickle. Food was staggered so half the party started to eat so it wouldn't go cold. Upon the second half arriving, we realised that the food had been mixed up, instead of remaking the food which was wrong - I did say, don't worry just make me another one as the person with my food had started eating, instead the plates were swapped by the waitress- so I was given half eaten food and the issue considered resolved.Very disappointing and I'm likely to not visit again for some time.

Lovely welcoming staff, had to wait a few minutes for a table but not long. Cappuccino was lovely and salted caramel cake scrummy. Good choice on menu and all food looked good. Will be back soon.

I grabbed a take out cappuccino. Very friendly staff, reasonably priced and great coffee. Enjoyed drinking it in the sun by the river, would visit here again. The cakes look amazing and the food smells beautiful!

Reeds cafe is a hidden gem in Gainsborough Town by the side of the River Trent. Big menu of breakfasts, snacks, meals and drinks. All fresh cooked to order. Friendly staff and delicious food. Would highly recommend the place.

My wife and I had some business in Lincoln so thought we'd try Reeds coffee shop and we were really impressed. My wife had a bacon balm and I had a breakfast baguette, never had a breakfast baguette before and did enjoy it, really tasty food and the service was exceptional. We're on holiday later on in the year nearby so we'll definitely be back.

Went for a full English breakfast which was very nice. I do really enjoy Redhill farm sausages. The service was very good. They had a trainee and she was still learning but she did very well. Lovely family atmosphere and decor. This is deffo my new favourite cafe in Gainsborough for sure.
