Went in to use my laptop for a couple of hours, and possibly get lunch. I bought a tiny coffee and a water, £10!!! Even for a restaurant / hotel that's overpriced.Could barely even load up a website the WIFI signal was so poor in the seating area.Changed my mind on lunch and headed to another venue instead. Dread to think how expensive it is to stay here.

Lovely location, grounds and buildings. Staff were friendly and go the extra mile. Thanks to Emilia and Jamie for some amazing cocktails and looking after us.

Came for lunch with a friend, lovely staff, very accommodating, nice food. Coffee was good although not very hot. Would definitely recommend

Had a family meal for my sons birthday last night (5th) , food and service were excellent, even the kids menu had plenty of variety Will definitely will be back !

Spent the weekend here on a bit of a "getaway" and I was not disappointed.Lovely grounds, warm and welcoming staff, decor and ambience not to mention outstanding food. The room we had was modern, huge TV ( not that you are there for that) with what looks like a new bathroom and a bath you could swim in.The staff really do care and go over and above on each and every occasion. We encountered several members of staff throughout the weekend and each one of them seemed to outdo the previous in terms of service and smiles.Dog friendly. Will be back :)

Lovely hotel. Our evening meal was fabulous. Staff very friendly. Room was good. Will definitely be back.

Very impressed with the room, food, friendly staff. We were able to bring Snoop along too which was a bonus. Lovely evening meal in the bar which I was able to enjoy gluten free, and had GF toast with breakfast in the morning. Room was particularly spacious and very clean. Will be back if ever this way on again, highly recommended.

A hotel of two halves.Ironically the oldest part of the country house including the dining room, bar and conferencing were immaculate and well presented. The decor was wonderful, worthy of a hotel. However the reception, the stairs and the building our room was situated in was dated, it felt like walking into a 1980s B&B.Although we had booked a double room the bed wasn't what I would describe as a double. Only one set of towels for the two of us, the tv reception made the tv unusable.Redeeming features and why I would return again (on the basis the rooms are refurbed) was the staff friendliness, the food was delicious, the gardens, grounds and pond were a beautiful space to retreat to.

Really enjoyed my 3 day stay to attend a wedding reception (which was terrific). Vegan food in the restaurant was terrific. Note that there's nothing vegan on the special Sunday menu but if you ask they can do stuff from the normal menu.

Went for a family Sunday lunch. Service and staff where good and friendly. Food was the worst we have had when eating out for a long time. Cold, hard and not very tasty. Most likely reheated from frozen.
