Enjoyed a fabulous meal here. Staff were very lovely and amenable. We had gammon, home made BROWN chips with salad to garnish and garden peas. Sirloin steal with chips and salad too. Beautiful meal. Lovely place and glad to see it come through the covid war 2020!

Fantastic dinner. No complaints. Fabulous staff. Thank you to Debbie and Ken who looked after us front of house, and to Jason and Shelia for cooking the most excellent food! We were a large party (12) which is never easy! But everything was brilliant. Big portions too! Great selection behind the bar for drinks. One child in our party was able to speak to the chef about what was available for her and she loved her dinner. Dogs are welcome in the “lounge” area so we brought our dogs in for the last few drinks of the evening. I had deep fried Brie and steak for my choices. Both were excellent. Several of us ordered steaks and there was a small confusion over who’s was who’s, but it was easily sorted and everyone was happy. We hope to come again before the end of our holiday! Thank you so much for all the care and attention you gave us!

Great traditional pub with fabulous food. My husband said it was the best steak he had ever had. My gammon was superb as well. Great find, will be back.

Don't believe the opening times. Cycled there Sunday 12th Sept arriving 2.30 pm Pub very firmly closed! Cycled 5 miles back home thirsty.... of course will probably give more stars when we find it open. Please can the proprietors keep the opening times up to date.

We went there expecting a brilliant steak and were not disappointed. I had the rump and my wife had the sirloin. Both were excellent and cooked as requested. The blue cheese sauce was to die for. The atmosphere was great and it was nice to get out to a cosy little pub like the old days. Will defo go again. Outstanding.

Has to be the best place for a steak anywhere in the county. A real gem of a place, a former coaching inn with loads of history. Food is always amazing. The Bull has always had a reputation for excellent steaks and they truly are, I recommend the Rump if steak is your choice. But the rest of the menu is also excellent. The prawn cocktail starter is delicious and a meal in itself, beautifully presented. The sticky toffee pudding is amazing. Give the place a visit, it is well worth the journey and you will not be disapointed.

The food and staff may be wonderful but I would advise against buying any used cars from here. Bought a car last week and took it in for a service this week. On top of the cost of the service it ended up costing me almost £250 in extra work. Notably 2 x rear suspension springs, 2 x rear bushes and the front driver side spring wasn't mounted correctly. Take a mechanic with you and check thoroughly, or buy at your own peril!
