My wife and I both enjoyed a good meal out at the Carpenters Arms, most enjoyable, good service too, shall definitely go back there again. Enjoyed a couple of lovely pints of 49 Sqn Ale from Ferry Ales Brewery which is very local. I found 2 interesting folders on the nearby window ledge, one on RAF Fiskerton and the other on one Lancaster crewmans individual story.

After hearing good things about the meals here we booked a table for my mum's 80th birthday, very disappointed, the tables were dirty,the food was only just warm,the meat was like chewing leather & the service was really slow considering it wasn't busy,definitely won't be going back
