Went here for birthday meal after long absence because of pandemic. Still as good as ever, and prices don't appear to have shot up like at most restaurants/pubs. Had combo meal of Chicken melt and Gammon steak, was delicious and portion size was very generous. Staff weren't the greatest, but the 5 orders all came out correctly and everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Will definitely go back again, and hopefully soon this time. 😎

Friendly and welcoming staff making a great start to the evening. We arrived at a somewhat busy time but were not long awaiting our meals. Excellent food and service!

Food and service was really good ,very quite n peaceful atmosphere, and with the river trent view outside the back it was relaxing to take it all in ,definitely recommend it .

So much choice - extensive and varied menu catering for all tastes. Lovely relaxed setting and perfect friendly service. Great place for the low key birthday surprise I wanted. Gorgeous food at really impressive affordable prices. It's rare that my other half justifies his food choice dilemma by already planning when he'll get back to try the 'dish that got away'. Had a lovely meal at the Ferry house. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. No sooner had we ordered and our meal arrived.The only thing I would say is if you have a mobility issue it is a little difficult to get into. Although the landlord did very kindly assist us.There is a accessible toilet.Would definitely recommend to able body people.

Fantastic food at excellent prices. This is one of our favourite local places to eat out. Absolute delicious 😋
