Myself and 11 family members ranging from 10yrs to 82 (my birthday) visited the Ingleby Arms yesterday for Sunday lunch. We were welcomed by the most friendly staff who could not do enough for us, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The meal, a normal Sunday roast was excellent, plenty of vegetables and everything cooked to perfection (I recommend the Beef). All my family said how much they enjoyed the meal. Go on give it a try. The beers good too. G.D The Elms. Torksey

Great atmosphere, huge menu for a small village pub, chef/boss fantastic and the food-well what can I say really very good.Would willingly recommend to everyone who enjoys their food.

Very good service great food well worth a visit .Oh i forgot to mention pretty good on the pennies too. Pub looks small from outside but is surprisingly spacious.

On a fairly dreary Thursday night, the place was empty. It's on a fairly busy route between Gainsborough and Lincoln and very much a 'local' pub with a fairly restricted choice of cider, a little better with beer. Live music was advertised for later in the week. The food came well recommended but isn't served every night and is a separate business from the pub and when I was there, the chef was away, so I can't confirm.

Went to this pub for a coffee, however, we were told the kitchen didnt open until 3pm, this was 2.45pm. Rather gobsmacked that they couldn't make a coffee and I was then served a flat lime and soda! Not impressed at all. However after returning later that same night for alcoholic drinks, we were made very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the last couple of hours there. Well done girls you redeemed yourselves. Sheila and Steve Looker from Doncaster

A really welcoming pub with lovely roaring fire. We had a great meal all home cooked and fresh fantastic steak and ale pie and beautiful generously portioned rump steak no ping ping here. The welcome was warm and genuine with a lovely friendly atmosphere. We had a lovely evening and will most definately call again we met with friends who were staying on the camp site behind the pub and they said the garden was lovely and sheltered.Great Pub give it a try .
