The Mouse House Cheese Shop & Coffee Bar in West Lindsey

Had an bad experience with this Company,so much so i feel compelled to bring it to your attention. Not only did they get my order placed at the end of November wrong leaving me with half my order being cheese that i didn't want but on opening the cheese on Christmas day we found it to be mouldy and out of date on 3 of the 8 truckles ordered.I have kept the cheese as proof that not all is well at the Mouse House Cheese Company and on some occasions things can and do go wrong.I hope you like me aren't out of pocket and left with sub-standard goods you didn't want in the first place.I've also left a review on Tripadvisor of the Muddled order which is another part of this story...i got the blame for that episode and no doubt will be at fault for this.

Found this cheese company whilst looking for Xmas gifts.I am amazed at the range of cheeses they produce and at great prices too...!! There are flavours and varieties that will suit all tastes.Their website is great for online ordering and offers a range of pre-selected hampers and gift boxes. However, you can also “pick your own” and build your own gift packs. There are multi-buy offers as well.Customer service is exceptional - very fast responses, professional yet friendly. Amazingly, I had a question about my order, emailed at 8.30 at night, and received a reply within minutes.Deliver is fast and the cheeses come packed with ice to keep chilled during transit.This is a family run business which clearly relies on reputation to be successful - they deserve a very well earned excellent reputation.I really value finding a decent company that care about their customers. I will definitely be ordering my cheese from this company again.

Bought a hamper as a gift for my sister! Firstly; great price and a well thought out product 💛 had some issues with the delivery (not Mouse House or Couriers fault) and Mollie was just amazing at sorting it out for me - cannot thank her enough! Super friendly and amazing over and above customer service! Hamper was thoroughly enjoyed - so if you want to spend your money anywhere for a different kind of gift then spend it at Mouse House!! You will not be disappointed 😊

Had an awful experience with this company. Their courier let them down over Christmas, resulting in my guaranteed for Christmas order (paid for early December) not arriving. This isn't great, but hey these things happen. What I do struggle with is their attitude and customer service. They weren't bothered. I never really received a proper apology. They did not offer to replace the order to ensure a family member wasn't let down over Christmas. They knew it was a present for someone as it had a gift message. They also knew the courier had lost it as the tracking information showed this on 16th Dec. I just got told on 23rd Dec they were taking a well earned break over Christmas and they would sort the problem at some point in the new year and it should turn up at some point after Christmas (no use to me). Well it hasn't turned up and I'm still waiting for a refund, so unfortunately I will never use this company ever again. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. Doesn't sound like I'm the only one who has had this experience either.

The lady behind the till was absolutely lovely, asking us about our day and if we were local, and we had a little chat whilst we checked out the cheeses.The cheeses themselves are excellent and we were happy with the prices for an independent shop. We picked up three cheeses, smoked cranberry and traditional applesmoked cheddar, which was out favourite – but there loads more to choose from!We are about half of each cheese the very same evening – delicious!

Lost all custom from me now!The fact they apparently delivered my parcel the other month which was a gift for my mum yet my mum never got it, they did send another out which somehow ended up at the right address suddenly? However today was the tipping point when we received some daughters parcel which was a gift for their dad which dated delivery for 14/17th December and it had been ordered the 4th... It was meant to go to Scotland and it ended up with my mum in South Wales!!! How can you mix a label/ order up like that?!Won't be back as they've lost my trust ..

In the absence of being able to see family this Christmas, I arranged for Mouse House to send hampers ( I also sneeked one in for myself ;-) ) The hampers were a pleasant surprise for all the recipients, were good value for money and contained good quality products. When we next visit Lincoln (when we're allowed out) we will visit the shop and thank the staff personally. And we might just get a bit of cheese while we're there too.

I have to say I really love this company cheese, we have order a few over the last 3 lockdowns and the service has been great. I also love going in they shop in Lincoln went we are over from Cumbria. Hope to been able to visit again went it is safe to do so again this year. Take care all. x

Ordered on 3rd December for Christmas delivery between 14-17th December, and as I sit here on the last day of the year, I am still waiting my order or any responses to my messages. I suspect it may have been quicker to walk to Lincoln, make the cheese myself and carry it back.

The staff in this quirky little cafe could not be more accommodating. We were a group of 7 and everyone was very happy with service, the taste and size of our portions. Cheese is obviously order of the day and it was all delicious. The coffee was also very tasty and the hot chocolate was the nicest people ever had.
