Sunday dinner is not amazing, not as described. Definitely would not recommend. If your not happy as the owners make the changes required.

Have been past here fair few times thought will have to try it Mmm did book table ordered quickly out of scampi no big deal ordered the fish instead waited almost 1hr 30mins with only 1 sorry shouldn't be too much longer but it was then over heard problem with the fryer should have been given the choice to cancel but when it finally arrived the fish was really nice But the chips was over cooked and wasn't even offered drink or discount the young staff was friendly and approachable

I enjoyed a very pleasant evening here. A very down to earth village and pub with a friendly feel, well-kept real ale and a lovely gammon meal.

I have lived in the local area for less than a year and been to the pub on numerous occasions. They have always made me feel welcome and have been very friendly.On today's occasion we popped down unfortunately just after 2pm which is when they stopped serving food, however the pub staff offered us menus and allowed us to place an order despite it being past the cutoff time. When the food came it was of excellent standard, second to none homemade food of large portion sizes!I have no criticism for the pub at all and the staff who work very hard to create such a comfortable atmosphere😊

After a bad start to my visit I stopped here for something to eat.Had a laugh because my accent made it unclear to barman what I wanted but luckily someone was able to make out what I wanted but it was so funny it brightened up my mood.I had a cheeseburger and chips and I actually struggled to finish the chips. Homemade chips and burger absolutely amazing. Cooked to perfection and clearly just made.Such a friendly place I even got opportunity to chat to the owner and he was so down to earth.Fabulous place. Great staff. Great prices.
