We called in 2 nights running last weekend for our wedding anniversary and we had 2 fantastic meals each we can't fault it the owners, staff and fellow customers were very friendly a good selection of drink and food available plenty of tables inside and out to enjoy your time there great establishment well worth a visit

First visit to this establishment and it won't be the last. Had a carvery which was delicious, only criticism I have is there were no stuffing. Lovely garden area with a children's play ground. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Definitely recommend.

Great ride out there last night. Friendly staff, even managed to get cashback for the burger stand outside.

Having lived in this area for 7 years, can't believe we've never found this place. Popped in for late lunch today. Food great, staff great, clean and tidy. What a great place, we will certainly be going back.

Very accommodating and friendly staff very good food for the money plenty of vegetables for a change sadly missing from main stream eateries and the portions for me we're immense to much for me! However I am sure others will cope!Would go there again, ate there 2 evening's on the trot 👍

Went there last night for a quiet drink with my wife. The bar person (the licensencees son) had no idea how to operate the till and had to ask his mother twice how to register my payments. I paid for two rounds of drinks initially. As we left to come home we were chased out by the licensee asking if we had paid for our drinks ! Firstly- communication between bar staff had failed miserably and secondly and far more importantly - how dare the licensee doubt my honesty and integrity ? I’m NOT the type of person to try and cheat anyone. An apology from the licensee would be welcoming but I doubt this will happen. We will not be going back to this pub unless I get an apology.

Even though short notice Happy to accommodate large family group on a Sunday. Staff very busy but good service and lovely carvery. Family all stated would love to go again next time come to visit. Will also be going again with Friends.

A great place to eat and the Carvery is particularly good and well attended. Its very popular with the villagers and it gets really busy so its a good odea to book a table. Both Jenny and Lawrence, the owners, are welcoming and friendly plus if its just a beer you want then theres a great beer garden and a good variety of beers to choose from. Its a popular place why not give it a try.
