The White Heather in West Lindsey

At first glance the private getaway rooms are nice.I did book from the pictures on Facebook of a room but ended up in a different room to the pictures posted. This wasn’t ok, I should have probably been shown the room I was getting as it wasn’t as nice as the other in my opinion.The place needs some work doing as one of the door handles on an inside door is hanging off and I also opened a cupboard door which also fell off.The staff are friendly.The food is ok.The main issue is the hot tub was very strong , I’m unsure what it was but our eyes were really burning and then our skin started to sting and get sore and itchy.Almost 2 days later and all my skin on my feet, knees and the creases of my body parts is really damaged, itchy and sore, seems to look like an infection.Unfortunately will not be returning. Such a shame considering how nice it looked, I would have rather spent my £150 somewhere else.I have been to many hot tub get always but never had these troubles before with my skin.

We have recently stayed here in one of the suites with the hot tubs. We were impressed with the room and service at first. When we got in the hot tub we thought the water was very chlorinated and burned our eyes. We also became very itchy and it burnt our skin. We didn't think much of it until after we had got home but now both my partner and I have ended up with Hot tub folliculitis which means that there is bacteria in the hot tub. We are both very uncomfortable and have a lot of skin irritation. We definitely won't be returning

Came for a wedding. Lovely place an food was awesome... Marquee was a bit drafty but nice wedding!

Attended a wedding recently. An ideal location and well set out. Nice grounds for photo opportunities. Food was good as could be expected for mass catering. Overall really enjoyed the day

I would like to give a big thank you to Amy and her staff at The White Heather for making my daughter and son-in-laws wedding such a special day. The White Heather is the perfect venue for a perfect wedding. The grounds were well kept and beautiful for the photos. It was perfect from the start - getting the bridal team (girls) ready with all the refreshments, bacon/sausage butties and presecco. The reception room was dressed beautifully and the food was lovely too. Everyone has said what an amazing day it was and that is down to the organisation of a well run venue. I can and will highly recommend The White Heather as a wedding venue.

It is always a first class experience whenever we attend a function at this place... Well done Jonathan you have made this place into a little haven of the socialites in the area... Keep up the good work.

Stayed for a Birthday treat - lovely suite, own hot tub and amazing foodWe were met on arrival and everything was explained and times were discussed for our evening meal which we had pre ordered.Hot tub was amazing and we could use this even with Storm Eunice throwing in the odd twig!Very professional and personal - would definitely recommend

Had a lovely stay here, staff very friendly and the room was clean and spacious, hottub was a very nice extra even in the middle of winter! All in all I would recommend this place if you want a little bit of privacy and peace and quiet, food is served in your room and is tasty and plentiful. We will definitely be booking again!!!

Amazing night. Comfy big bed, lovely clean warm and welcoming room. Bathroom has beautiful bath with jets and a big shower cubicle. Staff really friendly and can't do enough for you.The hot tub was amazing! Food was beautiful and in plentiful amounts.Thank you xx
