Only chinese I go to in gainsborough. Always very tasty and generous portions. Best in town

Food was 0-10 and was over priced for what it was. Never go there again! Wouldn’t recommend even to your dog.

Changed to this takeaway as was recommended, has been brilliant up until last couple of takeaways. Not as much meat/prawns,not as much flavour. Has there been a change of chef?

Delicious food, great sized portions. Best Chinese takeaway in Gainsborough, but sometimes not very accurate with timings ( I was waiting 20 minutes tonight! ).

Food was average. some of it felt microwaved. The Chinese dumplings were soggy, plastic and bland.The Chips were the same.The Sweet and Sour sauce was almost Ketchup and yes I am aware that Ketchup is an ingredient but not that much.The Chicken Foo Yung Was bland.The Portions were ok but nothing special.The Order was 1 hour late.This is the first time I have tried this takeaway as China Chef were closed and I am not impressed.I appreciate the effort but honestly don't appreciate microwaved food for hard-earned money. never ever had a Chinese from China Chef that tasted half baked like that.3/10 at best

Absolutely shocking service popped in to try out their curry sauce and place a large order to be told while I tested the curry for flavour, heat etc (And I mean literally stood there no more than a minute) that I couldn't stand around!!!! Now I understand if the place had been full and I was causing a problem fair enough but it was completely empty the sauce was stone cold so temp checks obviously not being done in this establishment so be warned!!! Obviously left rather disgruntled never to return, sort out your customer service you have just lost out on very large orders on the future wish I'd read other reviews before visiting as they are pretty diabolical too !!!!

Well the only nice things about the meal was the egg fried rice, free prawn crackers and the litte bit of lettuce with the duck. The duck was over cooked, dry and about 5 bits of it. The noddle were very greasy and the beef in the curry was very chewy so will not order from again

Had three meals from here over the last three months, We have the Beef Curry, Beef Chow mein, Mushroom fu yung, and Chicken fried rice. Absolutely delicious! Having tried all the other Chinese takeaways over the years, including Bawtry & Retford, this is one of the best we have had. Simply couldnt find fault with any of the dishes we have tried, except perhaps the BBQ Ribs were a bit dry, but still would be happy to give 10/10 on all counts. . .
