Dovecote Inn in Babergh

Took my son for Father's day absolutely loverly food well worth it beautiful carvers lots of options .

Went in there for a carvery last Sunday 5th June & it was amazing, got to say it was the best carvery I've ever had, looking forward to my next one

I went to a private function with a buffet it was very good. A carvery was on in the main bar which looked lovely

First time of dining in here , it was a very busy Sunday lunchtime and a throwback to how it used to be back in the day for myself...an absolutely wonderful carvery too and bar service was spot on .

Very good carvery, 4 meat choices, plenty of veg, good value for money

We went to the Dovecote today at 1pm for the carvery, the lamb was amazing and cooked to perfection, we would highly recommend this pub, made our mother's day special xx

Mashed potatoes were watery but also very lumpy ( if thats even possible) yorkies tasted like they were warmed up, broccoli and sweet corn were hard and not cooked as was the cauliflower. Mint sauce had lumps in. Only things that tasted good were the roasties and meat. We also waited over 20 minutes past our booked time. Will not be revisiting sorry.

Good points, parking, beer ok, food passable, reasonably priced. Bad points, dirty, very dirty, your shoes literally stick to the carpet and you really wouldn't want to sit down on some of the seating. Sort of place you'd want to wipe your feet on the way out. If they got this sorted with a refurb it might be ok.

Food good value and drinks reasonable. Plenty of veg to eat with choice of 4 meats. Pub situated just outside of West Brom and definitely worth a visit. Recommended, a hidden gem..

Just moved into the area and had to try this out. I did pick a busy day but the food was fantastic. Quick service and piping hot Carvery, much better than other places I’ve been to. Lots of families here which to me shows it’s a popular place with the locals.
