I can't express how disappointing this experience was. Thought we would have a morning out with breakfast them a walk around the farm.We arrive between breakfast and lunch which was fine, poor timing with young kids. The front of house was very rude basically saying it's tea and cake only of go away till lunch. We decided to have our walk around first them head back for lunch. The farm was a huge let down. Few animals, not pushchair friendly. They seem to have buried all their old waste (dumpers and tractor tyres) and then call it an attraction. It's was a thoroughly unenjoyable experience for all involved. Even the poor young lady on the counter robbing poor folk of their hard earned cash. We decided enough was enough and left after about 15minutes. Half the time it took us to drive there.Honestly spend your money somewhere that they appreciate their visitors rather than just extorting money from you!We also brought some sausages from the farm shop between the restaurant experience and the muddy field, again equally unenjoyable.full of fat but still dry. What a missed opportunity

An excellent lunch today. Friendly staff and first class food. Value for money and the panacotta was joyful. The shop was well stocked with local produce and again very friendly and helpful staff. A really nice place.

Best veggie breakfast i have had. Clean and tables cleared quickly. Staff polite.Highly recommend.Would not want to be in the marquee though. I know its needed to generate income but very unsightly.

First time visit, easy to find, easy to park and beautiful setting though close to the A12.Group of six met for breakfast and it was lovely.I had the small English Breakfast which was excellent, and included home made beans.Fabulous farm shop with good variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, and gifts for Christmas.

My favourite little farm shop and I’ve been to loads all over the country. The team are so friendly and helpful and although it is small, the selection of meats, frozen bits, sauces, fruit and veg, gifts, bread and biscuits still manages to be unrivalled. We moved a long way away but when we come back to visit friends, we’ll be visiting here. Also the little farm with the guinea pigs and bigger fluffs is a lovely addition, along with the kids play area.

I've been a few times to hall farm, the most recent of which was the best. I had the Sunday roast and it was one of the best roasts I have had in a restaurant! It was excellently cooked all round. It's also a lovely setting and a great place for a countryside walk.

Really enjoyed our lunch and the good service. Being concerned about COVID-19 we were pleased that the tables are nicely spaced unlike some restaurant's. Would have liked better cycle facilities but managed to lock our bikes to the building and another person who arrived by bike for shopping did the same.

Great quality meat from the meat counter. Great variety of produce. Love the fact they stock Suffolk Meadow ice-cream. Sausage roll pastry is really good. Scotch egg is also delicious.

Visited the farm today with lunch reservations. We arrived very early so had a walk around the farm and fed the animals.Once seated in the restaurant we all ordered the ploughman's lunch with ham, ham terrine and cheddar cheese........it was amazing, so many fresh delicious flavours in such a simple dish, I highly reccomend you try this hidden gem
