Hare and Hounds in Babergh

Tastiest pizzas in town served with a smile.

The Hare & Hounds is a perfect example of how a local pub should be. Beer is kept to the highest standard and guest ales makes it worth popping in just to taste them. I highly recommend the chicken schnitzel, but, to be honest all the food is excellent.I highly recommend the Hare & Hounds, it's fab.

Great local pub with friendly service and great pizzas, beer well kept

Excellent customer service!After an oven malfunction, resulting in a short wait for us - we were greeted with apologies and free delicious cheesecake to go with our delicious pizza.We hope you're evening got better. Thank you!

An excellent little pub that is really friendly and has excellent wine. Great for a stop off during a lovely walk in the surrounding countryside (a short detour from the St Edmunds Way). The only reason for 4* is that we haven’t eaten here, but the meal we saw looked top notch, we will be back to sample the food later!!!

Shame it was raining the day we visited,the outside space looked really inviting to of had a meal, great looking area for the little ones to play in also.Inside the pub was traditional and cosy but best of all was the food,we only had a main meal, but with the portion size being generous that's all we needed,couldn't fault it(didn't know haddocks grew that big!)

Wonderful pub, great well looked after beer with the Two guest ales changing regularly. The best local pub Sunday roast-especialy the potatoes😉, really reasonable prices. Austrian food available on the menu. Amazing friendly staff. Burger and pint night on Wednesday! Well worth a visit.

Love this pub. Great staff, proper pub grub with a decent selection of guest ales. Well worth a visit - especially on a Sunday for the family roast, served in dishes to your table!
