A reel café, no frills, nothing fancy, just great, had many takeaways during covid.

We have been going here for ages now, I have never seen a frown from any member of staff. That are happy to welcome regular and new customers with a smile and service that is second to none in the area. We have had different meals and haven't had a bad meal yet. Can't say that everywhere. So if you are in Hadleigh, Suffolk you really need to give this cafe a go, it is awesome. It is cash only here..

Called in for traditional lunch. I had roast lamb. My wife had roast chicken. Both excellent. Good veg selection. Not overcooked. Good portions. With tea and coffee tad over ÂŁ25! Recommended for an unpretentious British food experience.

Both had jacket potatoes excellent size and hot with a nice garnish and reasonably priced sat outside all very civilised we will be back visited yesterday

I was in Hadleigh yesterday. i went to Huffers Cafe. They have incredible selection of fishs that are both as good as anything you will find in the World’s top eateries. i had a chance to try breakfast, fish and chips. This mouthwatering cafe serves best fish that are so good you’d hear people whispering about them around Hadleigh in hushed tones. But Hey, i think fish and chips and breakfast this good need to be shouted about. Every single element of the fish and chips has been perfectly thought through. A gem of a dish that shows that when food is this good, less is often more. Epic levels of tastiness with thicky, crinkly fries.I don’t even tell about special sauces, spice…They think of every details. Introduce this spot to a friend, and they will love you for life. Special thanks to Big Chefs Ercan and Mekin, super friendly waitresses Jess and Sam 👍🏻🙏🏻

Arrived and they were busy so said to wait 5 -10 mins for a table to be free so we waited and then was seated, ordered our food from a wide variety of items. Our food was ordered and served within 10 mins, brillaint customer service and food service! 10/10 for taste, 10/10 for service.

Nice food and very reasonably priced. Waitress was very grumpy and there were no signs telling you that they actually don't accept card here and we were only told at the end when we went to pay. Had to walk down the street to the cash machine.

Brilliant cafe! Visited for the first time but will be coming back for more. Prices very reasonable, food delicious, staff super friendly. Loved it! Thank you.🙂

Good quality cafe type brekka. My companions rated the mushrooms which is always a good sign. Bit cramped in the booths for those of a fuller figure and not as cheap as the wilds of the North, but fair. Good for full English if that's your thing.

We stopped off here on a cycle ride for some light refreshment. Busy but understaffed little cafe, we were told someone would come to take our order, but no one did (sat out side) so chased up twice. Eventually we got our order in of two cappuccino and two toasted tea cakes, we were then told there was no tea cakes, so given option of carrot cake or passion fruit cheese cake, decided to chance on both, my carrot cake was ok but had better! My husband's cheese cake was frozen! Solid! The coffee was nice thankfully. When we went to pay it was cash only!! Would have been better we had been informed of this before ordering as we often only carry a credit card when cycling, luckily I had an emergency note shoved in my phone which just covered it, I was going to complain about the cheesecake but the staff where running around like headless chickens and I felt it would have been fairly pointless. I think it could have been better for a few more pairs of hands to help service the customers who had all come for brunch on this lovely sunny Sunday. Shame. Seemed relatively covid safe, mask and face screen wearing, and regular table sanitizing, but the handling of cash from customers by the till personal who then jumped from the till to serving plates of food to tables without sanitizing after handing the cash from various costumers would cause me great concern. Staff were very polite and friendly, I feel this is a management issue and there should have been more staff.
