Kings Head in Babergh

Great little pub in Bildeston with a nice sized best garden with a small children's play area at the far end.Had lunch consisting of a cracking lamb curry and a sausage & onion baguette. Curry was excellent just the right amount of heat yet very tasty. Staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful.

Me and my girlfriend went here the other day and had two excellent quality meals (steak pie and lamb curry). Really very good food.The landlord's home brewed ale was especially nice!To top it off the staff and landlord were all super friendly and really keen to chat about the pub the beer and everything else!100% would recommend.

Lovely roast pork lunch with all the trimmings. Home made orange and chocolate ice cream was delicious.

After arriving on a Saturday night without a booking, Nigel was very attentive and found us a table. We had the lamb curry. The meat was really tender, just as it should be. The beer I had was great and my partner's white was excellent. What the King's Head may lack in size it makes up for, the food, beer and atmosphere. Was reluctant to give a comment because we'd like to keep this gem a secret.

kings Head bildeston has a friendly welcome with a family atmosphere.. “always” the a Sunday roast with lashings of cauliflower cheese 👌Kevin playing classic instrumental guitar .... perfect👏🏻

I was looking for somewhere with good beer and a range of meal choices for vegetarians (and meat eaters) and found everything I needed here! The food was excellent and very good value for money and Nigel and his staff were perfect hosts. The 14 people in our group had an excellent evening!

My favourite pub in Suffolk... tucked away in Bildeston village, landlord Nigel and wife Sue offer a wonderful but simple selection of food.. but normally only at weekends. Chef Rick cooks everything fresh, and the Boozy Beef Pie is to die for. Nigel brews his own beer, with the best bitter being exceptional. Cannot rate this pub high enough... Five star !!!!!!

Amazing small pub with its own microbrewery. Friendly, welcoming and independent... how pubs used to be and should be... where they actually remember who you are! 😁😁

Went to Kings Head for a meal, bit disappointed they did not have a very wide range of soft drinks. Had a nice meal and staff were very helpful. Price was slightly high - but what you might expect. Would go again.
