I had a pint of Stella that smelt and tasted like sewer water with bits floating in the pint. They did exchange this for a peroni. They didn't have any fillet steak so I thought okay and went for the sirloin. Asked for it medium and it came out rare. Asked for skinny fries, they gave me chunky ones. Then brought skinny fries out which were just saturated in oil and discussing.. For a beef eater the quality is poor to say the least. The one in derby is miles better. If my meal wasn't brought for me already by work I'd be asking for a full refund!

Not a bit like it used to be, food very disappointing - asked to swap coleslaw for peas or something and was told a short no. Chicken Melt arrived with a really small portion of fat chips - all a bit bland and dry.Not good value for money at all and far too many other more accommodating places that are more flexible and appreciate your custom to want go back again. Waitress was lovely but not lovely enough compensate for the rest of it. Shame as it was our go to eating pub.

Great breakfast, friendly staff. Gets quite busy over weekends, as I have witnessed in the past when visiting. We usually stay in the premier inn, and there is no need to go into town for food or drinks as the beefeater is perfectly adequate.

I was really looking forward to having breakfast here , once there to an empty restaurant apart from a table of six. They then sat us next to them in an empty restaurant for then to be ignored why a table of 6 4 &2 come in was taken orders from them and we was left waiting 30mins and even then had to go and ask for the bill as think service here is diabolical to just be ignored as we was going in as paying customers not in from premier Inn as seem u get treated better. To then pay £15 for 2 coffees pancakes and toast when we was wanting a full cooked breakfast will not make this mistake again

Waited nearly 10 mins to be seated. Main was ok, steak was a bit chewy. Custard was served cold. Food came out in good time, but other than this service was practically non-existent. Not the best overall experience but not the worst either.

Compliments to the waiting staff and the chefs! We were very well looked after (2 adults & 2 young kids) by super friendly staff and the food was yummy!

Perhaps it was a bad day but we sat at dirty tables surrounded by plates and glasses. Someone came and took the plates but left the glasses and other rubbish that was just blowing around. The salad wasn't very fresh and the steak ok but a bit bland. We have had better meals here in the past.

Just had our Xmas lunch here and it was excellent. From the initial meet and greet to the food and to us leaving 2 hrs later, everything was faultless. Lunch was absolutely delicious, we could only manage three out of the four courses ( had to take a rain check on the coffee but managed to squeeze in the mint chocolates 😁). Compliments to the chef and kitchen team! The waiting staff were attentive and our courses weren't rushed making our lunch time spent at the Oyster Reach very enjoyable. If Xmas lunch is happening here in 2021 we will definitely be coming. Would highly recommend. Well done !
