Scutchers Bistro in Babergh

The food was delicious and the staff went out of their way to make it a very special birthday lunch.

Wonderful lunch here as always. I always respect how this restaurant is never 'over subscribed' even on a busy day like mothers day when I'm sure they could have booked ten times over. Food, service, staff, ambiance all second to non.

Well what can I say?!?! This is the best meal we have had in a very long time!!! The food was excellent (the lobster ravioli was to die for as was blue cheese rarebit!), the wine was such buttery goodness (David Moret Rully) and the service was on-point and so friendly! Thanks to the Scutchers Team for a fabulous night. Very recommended!

Sublime. This was the best lunch I have had in decades, never mind years. Fabulous food (I had the lobster ravioli, the Dover sole and the crepes suzettes), great wine list and a really lovely atmosphere. I really could not praise this restaurant more than I have, except to say if I could have given it 6 stars I would have done so!

The best restaurant ever The food was delicious, the stake just melting in the mouth And the most polite and helpful stuff Really enjoyed our lunch

Always the highlight of our visits to Long Melford. Everything about Scutchers is exemplary, the food is first class, the service friendly and faultless and the atmosphere a delight. My only regret is that it is nearly 100 miles away from home.

What a lovely evening. Perfect service, perfect timing, beautiful tasting food. Thank you so much

Celebrating a birthday here again was everything we hoped. Drinks and nibbles by the open fire before going through to the dining room. Table decorated with birthday sprinkles and beautiful napkins. The food was exemplary, service with a smile and altogether a lovely experience. We can't wait for the next special occasion. Thank you Scutchers

Great menu, food excellent, service top class. First time we've been there. Loved it. Will be back.

We took our son in law here for his birthday meal. We were greeted with friendly attentive staff making you feel welcome straight away. The food was outstanding and certainly worthy of a visit. We can honestly say this was one of the best three course meals we have eaten. We will be returning again and againThank you for such a lovely experience.
