Tanswell's Cakes in Babergh

The yum-yums are amazing!! The only advice I could give is to try and come earlier in the day, as the food is so good that it sells out pretty quickly. Fabulous selection of treats too

A great place to stop for coffee, tea and hot chocolate with one or two of the varieties of cake on sale at this bakery. Lovely bread rolls and loaves and friendly service.

Amazing last minute chocolate cake.Just happened to be passing the bakery on Friday night and bumped into the boss man, got chatting and got one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had made for the next morning.I couldn't recommend them more!

Nice selection and amazing tasting pastries would recommend if anyone is pasting through Long Melford

Tasty sausage rolls, mini cakes were very moist and flavoursome accomanpnied by excellent customer service. Sadly I am only visiting the area but if I lived locally I would be purchasing every day.

The most delicious cakes, sausage rolls, bread etc I have ever tasted. Can not fault one thing about this bakery! The service, food, price.. EVERYTHING is spot on. 100% would recommend.

Fantastic small and very friendly bakery with a variety of breads and cakes plus a great range of local meats and cheeses and other produce. Good coffee too!

Absolute gem of a bakery and the loveliest team. The most wonderful bread and cakes, and utterly delicious Doughnuts and yum yums! This is a bakery not to be missed.

Omg! Visited Long Melford today, sausage roll and cream doughnut from this local bakery were absolutely delicious and excellent prices, highly recommend.

Simon's mince pies will not let you down! His cakes are delicious and in general things are nice and buttery but not as sugary as the supermarket fare. Well worth a visit!
