Warm food, tasty. Clean environment and cheerful enough place. Limited choice in menu at time of visit. Plenty of space between tables. Polite staff.

Loved the menu for lunch today. I had difficulty deciding what I would like to eat as several options I particularly wanted to taste. I am so pleased with myself for having chosen a really delicious starter - Beetroot and Gin Soaked Salmon - beautifully presented on the plate and so decidely tasty.I thought the establishment had been tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. I welcomed the comfortable dining chairs; very comfortable indeed. The staff were friendly and efficient

Great customer service and selection of drinks and food. Prices reasonable

Lovely lunch. Steak baguette was amazing. We were doing an audio tour and popped in for lunch. Pub is very clean staff are attentive and friendly.

Bobby basic. As a family meal, not the best £75 for 4 burgers and drinks. Kids couldn't eat the chocolate brownie dessert as rich and powdery. Plenty of other options to explore locally. Ill update as we try them. Likely not to eat here again.

Nice location at the entrance of the town, quick service at the afternoon and the food was a good standard.

Had our Christmas meal here last night.I rate myself on honest reviews, and don't just come on here to leave bad ones. The welcome and staff were excellent last night. The waitresses were all really happy and attentive. The music was really good. Although a little disappointing that the advert said carriages at midnight and the music stopped at 1130. Unfortunately the prawn cocktail starter wasn't that great, it didn't taste of anything and was just like a pile of mush. The Turkey main was really nice but parsnips were just boiled and most people like them roasted and not hard. The brownie desert was nice but nothing particularly special. I suppose for £30 a head with music and a drink on arrival the experience was going to be a little lesser. But all the pictures of Sunday roasts on your Facebook page look really top notch. So not sure what happened last night. Overall was a good night, and the staff were brilliant.

Just had our Christmas meal here, can't thank the staff enough. The marbles were absolutely devine. We had them for starters and liked them so much had them for the main too! 😍

Lovely, freshly cooked meal. Creative and tasty. I would be happy to return. Very enjoyable meal. Good choices on the menu. October.... another excellent meal. Definitely recommended. Thank you.

Unfortunately our 3 roast dinners came out cold. The meat was very nice as were the desserts, just a shame when you look forwards to a nice meal and the food is not hot. The online booking system is very good and the staff were all very good. Atmosphere and pub decoration is very nice. Dog friendly.
