The Hare Inn in Babergh

Went there to get some lunch, parked outside and went in, waited for 10 mins ish by the bar before I got the chance talk to a barmaid and asked her for a table for three to eat..... but she says no table was available and no food, but at the same time I saw some other people was eating and there were few tables empty ..... dissatisfied and disappointed...we just left.....

Food was Delightful, I went with two friends and they really enjoyed their meal as well. Definitely going there again, very relaxed atmosphere.

Very nice pub in Medford. Great for food and drinks with very friendly staff. Would recommend. Food isn't too expensive.

Six of us went for a meal to celebrate brother-in-law's 60th birthday. Tables were well spaced and staff friendly and welcoming. There was something on the menu for everyone and the food was delicious. Will certainly be making a return visit soon

We had a great Sunday lunch at the Hare Inn, Long Melford. Well priced, good range of beers, friendly and professional staff. And dog friendly 👍🏻

The food and atmosphere is great. Service can be a little bit slow but my family and I enjoy long relaxed meals.Whenever an issue arises, they are always courteous and quick to fix it.Definitely a local favourite!

What a lovely place to eat out. Been here many times and have never been disappointed. It's clean bright and cheerful and the staff are lovely. The food is first class which is why they are usually busy. You do need to book.

Went for a family get together. Very friendly staff and congenial atmosphere. Sunday lunch menu had a wide variety of choices. The vegetarian roast was delicious and both the sea bass and pork with crackling went down very well with other members of our party. Portions were substantial. Will definitely go again when next in Long Melford.

First time at this olde world Inn we met our relatives hear today booked to either sit inside or out we chose to eat out walking through the bar to the garden very nice decor enough tables outside to cope with the covid isolating situation it also allows dogs and also has a children's play area, the meals we ordered were very well presented and well waited on and delicious for all of us we had sweet as well lovely, there's parking at the front as well at the side, staff well presented and meals arrived hot and fresh we will go there again great place.
