Great old fashioned pub with great beer and good food.

I went here for lunch two days ago on the recommendation of a friend. Certainly didn’t disappoint.I was spoilt for choice on the menu, the food wasn’t as quick as chain restaurants but that’s because the food was fresh and not thrown in a microwave so I was happy to wait.It’s got that country pub feel, plenty of parking and the right amount of tables which when full wouldn’t be overwhelming.Would strongly recommend, I hear the Sunday roast is unreal so will be returning to try it!

We were in the area visiting family. We usually go out for a meal & decided to try the Kings Head. What a lovely place this is, good choice of food, very friendly staff & excellent service. All in all a wonderful visit and well worth the 5 stars I have given. We WILL be back again :-)

We had a lovely meal with all the meat and vegetables cooked to our taste but unfortunately the plates and food was a little on the cool side and soon went cold .Excellent service nevertheless .

Table booked for a birthday treat, been several times before but not since Covid, usual service was very good, staff excellent and helpful and polite, will go back sometime, food excellent.

Excellent grub, good choice of ales and very nice staff. Lots of outdoor seating front and back. Will definitely visit again when in the area

Having reserved a table as a treat for my son and two grandsons, who were visiting Suffolk at the weekend, and to have read menu on the pub's Web site, I was very sad and annoyed, to be told that there was no Sunday roast on offer. The guy just shrugged his shoulders and said it's off today!! I explained that I had enquired about the children's portions for a Sunday roast, and was assured that it would be available earlier in the week when I made the booking. We had no option for the children except meals with chips, and much the same for adults unless you wanted a curry or lasagne, which is fine for lunch during the week, but not pub grub for a Sunday Dinner!! Will check next time before I go.

Gorgeous pub, lovely outside area, meal was delicious and great selection of beer! Kids warmly welcomed...great!!!!

We both had fish and chips which were fantastic. Great choice of Ales. Even though the rest of the customers all seemed to know each other it was a really friendly atmosphere and people spoke to us. Parking is a bit tight but side roads are available. Dog friendly.

I had the utmost pleasure of dining here today and meeting the fabulous Trevor & Elaine (Landlords) and other fabulous staff that took care of our every need.My husband plays darts weekly here and always says such wonderful things. The pub is so well laid out with a lovely homely, cosy feel and the food is exceptional (thanks Lee) You must see the garden, its amazing!!!I cant wait to return.Thank you everyone 👍
