The Lindsey Rose in Babergh

It's our Anniversary today so decided to try it as we hadn't been in a while, a friendly welcome, unfortunately the wait for our table was so long & sat at the bar, once we sat down we waited so long to order & then waited for 30 minutes for our food, my ale pie came & was tiny, the veg was beautifully fresh but stone cold & one small spoonful of potato which also was cold, admittedly they bought new warm veg but no potato & by the time I got the veg the pie had nearly gone! Far too much waiting so sadly we dare not wait for desert so felt quite disappointed. Such a shame as it's such a lovely place to be...

Lovely little friendly pub, great food

Lovely country pub, excellent local ales and awesome Sunday roast. Simple choices, but done really well

Food took ages to arrive. Pork was really tough and mostly fat. Portions much reduced from previous visit.

Very tranquil, came indoors to be greeted by lovely open fire. Staff very efficient,friendly and attentive. Selective menu, tasty food, very appealing prices. This establishment very much geared up for outside participation. Definitely come back.

Amazing fireworks display and entertainment singer. Great options of food and drink. Will be going next year for sure.

Really nice Suffolk pub. Modern but still maintaining the country and communal feel. Mid priced pub, but good selection of beers, ciders and drinks. Food is also very good.Big beer garden out the back, with benches on the front.

Didn't go in, but outside was lovely and the staff I had contact with were nice & cheerful. The burger cooked outside was lovely although I thought a tad expensive at £5.

Great, friendly service however possibly the poorest quality food I’ve experienced. Appreciate with the constraints it’s not easy so a BBQ is a good fall back but you aren’t doing your self any favours by serving this food.
