My family & I recently dined at the crown - wonderful setting, choice of food/ drink & service. We will definitely return again very soon.

A very nicely refurbished pub/hotel, have only had a drink in this establishment, service very good.

Exceptional. Having been diverted from the SatNav due to an accident, a very friendly local chap drove us to the hotel, we were blown away by the local hospitality. The entire stay was perfection. Thank you so much 😊

Food was outstanding, the setting in front of a warm Suffolk fire, with good food and fantastic company and very accommodating staff...Fantastic night out, we will be back

Pub owned by the master of the illegal fox hunters, so recommend avoiding any support of this business. Their guys also assault peaceful protesters at their bloodthirsty gatherings. Really unpleasant people.

The pub is owned by James Buckle who's hunt master for the notorious Essex and Suffolk Hunt. Unless you want to support illegal fox hunting just don't go there. One of their huntsman has a conviction for cub hunting. This involves hounds tearing young foxes to pieces

Great as always, food incredible and such beautiful presentation every single time. The lobster Salad was as good as I remembered! Staff were very attentive and it was a really lovely evening. I enjoyed it so much I only took a picture if the pudding & the wine!! ..... the wine was very delicious.

Lovely food. I had the Steak, my wife had the vegetarian meatballs and loved them. Duck nibbles were delicious too.

Recently went here for a meal, however although the menu boasts all the regular dishes, something is definitely missing. I don't know if maybe they've changed chef or if it's the quality of the produce but for example although my steak was cooked medium rare it was quite chewy. And the portions have got smaller. Service from all the young waiters that night was very good, friendly and professional, although from the higher up staff there was definitely a warmth that was missing. This was always my favourite place to treat ourselves to. But I don't think I'll be going back again after this visit. As I don't think the food justifies the money anymore. Shame really.

I went for a friend's wedding recently and the venue, food and staff were all wonderful. Great choice of food though the portions were bigger than we could manage but there was a huge variety, including vege and vegan. All the staff wore masks/face shields and were respectful in keeping distance. The bar was great again with a large choice of drinks. Clean toilets, dog friendly, easy to find on the map. Will definitely be going again!
