We where recommended to the bells by a friend, This is one of the best pub Sunday roasts we have had ever.Lovely tender beef plus about seven different vegetables and great gravy. No need to go anywhere else after finding this lovely country pub with very friendly and helpful staff.

Saturday night dinner was delicious with friendly staff and the opportunity to buy art. Make sure you order a (large) portion of onion rings, so, so good

Run by landlady Debbie and with charming bar staff this pub maybe off the beaten track but it’s a little gem. With a good sized garden and children's play area out back it’s perfect for all ages and the best thing - it’s dog friendly. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Pub, and surroundings did not get the chance to eat. But we will be returning to gorgeous venue very soon. Will update when we have .

Great location, very good food and drinks! Bar was a bit noisy but that didn't really detract.

The six bells was a great find for my hiking buddies and I a few years ago. Been going back when I can since then. Latest visit was Sunday 30th Jan 2022 for Sunday roast. Had the beef, excellent, well stocked with a variety of vegetables and the sirloin was perfect. It’s a great place, loads of space, wood fires, great friendly staff, plenty of menu options and real ale. Thoroughly recommend it.

We stopped at this charming village pub for a quick pint whilst walking in the area. It was a Saturday lunchtime and we were surprised to find the pub was very quite. The decor inside was appealing and the staff were friendly. We sat in the garden area at the rear of the pub in a lovely setting and glorious sunshine. We enjoyed our visit so much that we returned at the end of our walk for another visit.

A decent offering in a cutesy village setting with kid and dog friendly service inside and out.

Lovely country pub with loads of character. Good food and really friendly staff. We camped in the field behind which is basic but suited us for an overnight break. Situated in a quaint little street with a little churchyard 5 minutes stroll away. Definity recommend this place.
