Excellent local rural pub. Serves a wide variety of specialist beers and ciders that you can try before you buy. We tried 4 different beers, all really good. Importantly they knew their beers so steered you to what you were looking for V dog friendly even putting up with our big Spanish Mastiff. Plenty of room inside and out weather permitting. We went there on a Friday night and they have a burger stall outside who take your orders and bring them in. They were excellent. Big portions, triple cooked chips and oodles of fillings. The bar staff were v welcoming. Recommended for lovers of great beer, old pubs and people who like top burgers on a Friday night

Lovely quiet location, with miles of walks in open countryside. Pub is charming, with friendly locals and great beer.

Cosy, inviting, comfortable, incredible beers available on keg, cask & in the fridge, great sharing platters, obscure pub games & just one of the best pubs there is..

Love this place - great choice of beers and gorgeous location. Look forward to visiting again.

You should never visit this part of Suffolk without trying the amazing beers at the White Horse Inn in Edwardstone. Maybe a musical should be written about this one as well.. Edwardstone instead of Salzkammergut!

Wonderful pub serving great beers and ciders including multiple Little Earth Project selections (I think there were 5 on when we visited in July). Cask and keg beer really well looked after, the passion comes through. Beers from top UK breweries such as verdant, kernal. All the staff were great. The location is really nice, well worth travelling to!

Interesting. Quite a different drinking experience, but rewarding and each drink brought with it another conversation. Needs to get some food back, even basic pie and a pint food. Easier said than done , I expect. We camped and everything was camping cool. Thanks and good luck to the LEP

Just come back from a weekends camping. We were here two years ago and on both occasions it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay (weather got in the way a bit!).The owners were cheerful and accommodating. The booking in was easy. The sites well marked out in a nature friendly way.Loos, showers and washing facilities clean. As was the washing up area and there was plenty of hot water. There are electric hook up sites, but we didn't use, not sure how the electricity is paid for.£9 per camper, per night which seemed reasonable to me.The site is lovely, albeit a simple field. Edwardstone is a lovely little village to walk through and opposite the site is a large playing field to exercise dogs and children! The field also has basic swing park too.The White Horse Inn no longer seats inside, due to Covid, but there is a covered in shelter with seating outside and service from a doorway. (They accept cards). The site sells beer brewed on site. It also offers excellent range of ciders. The Friday evening had a visit from a couple of mobile caterers selling steak and chips and pulled pork burgers. Which looked and smelled amazing. Chips were certainly very good.Had a great stay and we will almost certainly be back.
