Enjoyed lovely cream tea today with 2 scones, jam and clotted cream. Huge scones, probably not enough jam and cream for both if I'm honest but tasty. Fed most of 2nd scone to the birds while sitting outside ...relaxing surroundings enjoying sunshine. Good place to visit including other shops of interest and staff very friendly

Went to the Tea Room and even though they only close at 17:00 and there only being 2 tables with customers, we were told to go to the Cafe. In the Cafe, once again no customers but there is no assistance to get seated, the tables that were empty were dirty with left over food on them even though there were no plates, food on the ground under the tables and the staff are not helpful or friendly. Overall I must say this is not what we expected. The scones came and there are 2 large scones which is good but the a small container with enough cream in for 1. I would not recommend this Tip Tree location at alll

I love Tiptree products and I love a Tiptree cafeI ordered a cream tea which included 2 scones with clotted cream and a choice of Tiptree jamThe scones were lovely the only problem was they were quite large... A good thing you would think but sharing the jam and cream out between them there just wasn't enough so the scones were a little dry unfortuneatelyThe cafe is lovely with lots of outdoor seating and the staff were great, I would visit again just wouldn't have the cream tea maybe one scone with cream and jam would be a better choice

A very popular place for children's parties at the weekend but we've always managed to get seated, food is always consistently good

Went on early May BH which coincided with sensory classes so naturally it was busy.Ran out of jacket potatoes, and the 'specials' were a cranberry bacon brie toasties which was good, however the chicken bacon wrap with chips for £12 was a disgrace, hardly any filling and whole dish looked lost on the plate served.

Had a lovely afternoon tea for our Mums 67th birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the staff couldn’t do enough for us and made Mum’s birthday very special. Good value for money, you get loads we even took some cakes home. Will definitely be returning soon 😊

Booked afternoon tea for myself, 3 sisters and elderly parents in wheelchairs on the afternoon of our annual Christmas displays at the Garden centres outing and have to say we couldn't have booked better. There was ample room to manoever my parents in and out of their chairs, the staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for us and the food was delicious and ample. What we didn't manage was boxed up for us to take home and the price was very reasonable. Very worth a visit and we will definitely be returning 😊

Come here every year during/after the Essex Sausage and Cider festival across the road. Absolutely Stunning food, the staff are awesome friendly and polite. The restaurant is spotless and so are the toilets. If you haven't tried this place yet your missing out...Currently sitting in the restaurant as I write this....
