Basil Spice Indian Restaurant in Basildon

Thank you for the delicious food you served up last night and I must compliment Adam [the owner] on how well he has asked his staff how to be attentive to customer requests, the service for myself and my wife was impeccable we will be recommending this restaurant all the time . Very disappointed. First time I do an online order here. I read the reviews and expected quite a lot. We order some lamb bhuna and tasted very weird... Like spices were missing. I have never had a bhuna with peppers in my life. That was a weird combination. I might be wrong but it looked like they run out of ingredients and put ramdom ones there. Anyway... My opinion but it was bizarre. Thanks

Lovely food! Especially the biryani! Great service with excellent customer service skills! Would highly recommend if you would like the taste of quality food.

Great atmosphere, great food, would highly recommend if you want a lovely night out. Management 10/10. Had a couple of large parties where they did not disappoint. Do not miss out on the party deals 10/10

The food was amazing, the staff is so nice and the portions are very big compared to other restaurants in the area. My favourite was Chicken Tikka Biryani, it was the best Biryani I have ever eaten! also Chicken Korma, will definitely be back! Thanks a lot

As a vegetarian and with my favourite curry house cloud naan being shut I chose basil spice . We ordered the vegetables pasanda which lacked any real flavour and the aubergine was almost uncooked . The dish as a whole lacked any real taste sadly . Food was hot on arrival and turned up before the suggested time so I'll give 3 stars for this. I just wish curry houses In Basildon would put a bit more effort into their veggi dishes .

Very welcoming restaurant. Was there for a birthday party and we were allowed music requests and to get comfortable being there. They made it clear how spicy the options were and offered to change how our meals were if we weren’t happy with them, but we were for sure. Great value for money 👍

Very cozy restaurant, Jordan my server was very polite and knew his stuff. There was a birthday party going on when I went to the restaurant but I still enjoyed my time there. Food was great but quite pricey. All in all, it was a lovely experience

Adam (The Owner) made it a very special night for my partner’s birthday, detailed plan prior to the night with plenty of options, decorated the place for free, provided me with sparklers for the cake and chucked in some additional food for the party!On top of this, all the staff were super polite, friendly and prompt with our orders, fantastic round all night!Finally, the food, was outstanding, took plenty home that we all demolished after as well!Thank you!
