Curry Garden in Basildon

Only guests in the restaurant but not made to feel like it, service was great and food so good, especially as we don't eat onions..dine in always a good option

I had a takeaway tonight from the Curry Garden & boy was it bad.. it was delivered quickly & hot but it was not up to it's normal standard! The onion bhajis were Ok, the samosas were bland, the rice was flavourless, the keema naan was fine but at the end of the day it is just bread but as for the chicken tikka massala it wasn't totally lacking in flavour & it did not have the consistency of cream it appeared to be made with water which would dilute any flavour that it should have had.

It's a small restaurant which is cosy, however the delivery driver and the manager/server were just hanging around as there were no other customers, every time I looked up, one of them were staring at us. The food was lovely and this will now likely be my favourite takeaway but doubt I'd dine in again.

Lovely food, and adheres to allergen advice as I have a severe allergy to nuts. One of the only places I'm able to buy Indian food and enjoy a Korma and Peshwari Naan. Will always be recommended by me! Well done, keep the quality and fab customer service!

2nd night iv ordered a take away from u guys at cranfield park and it was again delicious 2nd night in a row different food compliments to the chef beautiful food 5 star plus !!!

I really like the food here. Always getting my take aways from here. Ate in the restaurant for the first time today with my friend. Service was good and the staff were very friendly, although we were the only ones in there. Would definitely recommend for the food and reasonably priced.

Ordered a sizeable order for 5 people for delivery. The order arrived within a few mins of the estimated time. Everything was piping hot and really nice. A few of the party comment on how good the food was, often "This is the best x I have ever had". Very impressed and this has now become our go to for deliveries.

Ordered a prawn korma and prawn dupiaza for tonight. Korma was like eating a bowl of desiccated coconut and both meals were swimming in oil. Have not used this restaurant for a long time and had forgotten what it was like with regard to the amount of oil used. Will not use again.

First time ordered from this place, Butter chicken was cooked with wrong ingredients did not even taste like it, it was ghee just poured on top and tasted sweet with coconut, ordered tandoori roti and was still raw and not cooked properly, supposed to get free drink as advertised on the menu, I think i am generous in just giving a 2 really, first and last.

This place doesnt look like much from the outside and the name doesnt sound very appealing but, dont let that fool you. I avoided this place for years because of the look of the shopfront and because of their non authentic name and what a mistake that was.Out of all of the indian restaurants i have been to around Basildon and Pitsea, these guys are making the best food. I love cooking and fine ingredience and they are definately not holding back. Hats off to the chef.As well as great food, the prices here are very low especially compared to other local indian restaurants and also the delivery time was always quicker then what they had estimated. Overall i would reccomend this restaurant especially for takeaways.
