Dragon Inn in Basildon

The restaurant lied about delivery times and when I called after an hour and 10 minutes they hadn’t even made our order, this take away was recommended but after our experience tonight we will never be surfing them again !!!

First time tonight having takeaway with this Chinese and I must say it was very nice indeed , nice enough that I called and conplimted the chef. (Very rare I do that.)The food was hot ,fresh, tasty,seasoned, not greasy,good size portions and ready in no time .The only thing I can criticize is the lemon sauce was very lemony and I mean very lemony but I guess if you ask for lemon sauce you get LEMON sauce but apart from that I think we have found our new Chinese takeaway .Regards your new customer John

Ordered a mixture of dishes, really enjoyed the crispy beef and spring rolls. The Lemon Chicken was a bit odd and the vegetarian dishes weren't great. The restaurant didn't mention that we had to pay by card on the phone but luckily had cash.

It was amazing iv never felt so fat from eating so much in my life I would 100% recommend I hope you enioy your Chinese

I've been a really loyal customer of Dragon Inn for the last 8.5 years. Despite having some pretty rubbish meals at times, such as meals tasting different to the last and finding chicken in my plain chow mein as a vegetarian I've decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and return as a customer. Unfortunately tonight not only have I waited for over 1 hour and 40 mins for a takeaway from them but the meal I have received tastes distinctly off. Something about this meal is not right. I will be keeping it and giving it back to them tomorrow morning as I have been unable to digest the food it's so bad I wouldn't give this to my dog. Might have just been a bad one tonight as I'm usually happy but the bad ones are far outweighing the good lately and I can't recommend this take away based on this. Try another take away because you never know what you'll get with this one!

Good food, probably best Chinese in bill town. Quick delivery for a sat evening

I find this is one of the better Chinese Takeaways in Billericay, even though you can get a variation in quality. The food is never bad, but seems to be of a higher quality during busier periods when the food is cooked and appears to taste fresher.Certainly better than Yau's which everyone seems to rave about which is average, poor service and all the food appears to be pink and full of MSG,
