I had a meal booked for 7 on Saturday the 2nd and I made the purfect choice of restaurant. The meal was absolute quality from start to finish along with the waiting staff who were polite and friendly and helpful. We all had a great experience and we are looking forward to returning. All I can say is thank you. Steve

Calamari wasn't great..Prawns were delicious however.Order was messed up, although steak was cooked well.Choclate cake wasnt great, felt like it was a cheap stodge, bought in affair.Bought white NZ wine, and instead of having the same bottle the second time, another one was given without asking. With the bottle being placed elsewhere, it was a chore having to get up and be my own waiter for the evening.. that or just not drink the wine we bought.

Great food but felt staff could have tried a bit harder to accommodate our wish to join up with some surprise visitors. Apart from this everything was amazing πŸ‘

Not as it used to be, we ordered 3 skate and one other main meal which was sent back, cold and dry.The skate dishes had various amount of sauce in each one.Mine didn't have any, dry.It was disappointing and we have eaten there several times.Needless to say, it will not be on my choice list next time.

Lovely food however we came with my children on the off chance we could get a table. It was very quiet however the manager was obviously put out by the kids being there and said he'd have to check with the chef if we could have a table even though plenty available. He then was quite abrupt and said they didn't do kids menus. I replied that it was fine as my kids don't eat from a kid's menu. My children were very well behaved but we had obviously put them out and it left us with the view of it not being somewhere to go again.

It's a very lovely hidden away restaurant, and is quite small. Food is okay, portion size is great! The Lasagne was nice, but a bit burnt on top. The Creme Brulee also tasted nice, but had the consistency of scrambled egg so was a bit overdone.Presentation was good and the wine was also good. The Manager was abrupt with staff in the restaurant, so whilst it's good they're trying to keep standards it's normally something guests shouldn't have to see. It's a decent place to eat and may visit again if I'm in the area, but I wouldn't make a special trip to return.
