£50+ order and they forgot a second portion of the salt and pepper chili chips. Called back to have another portion delivered and I get told that I am a liar basically...having explained that 2 portions were ordered they still wouldn't have it. If you have paid for it you should get it. will not be going back.

I saw the high rating for this takeaway so placed an order… then I saw more recent reviews that were terrible so was dreading my order arriving.I’m happy to say that not only did the complete order arrive ahead of time it was DELICIOUS! Everything tasted fresh and not heavily seasoned with MSG. Will definitely be ordering from May’s Kitchen again!

Have to say gone down hill since being taken over, had the kung po chicken and was more kung poo then po, coating was awful and not cooked properly, I’d give it a miss if I was you

Food was lovely… as for the rest, what a joke! Waited an hour and 45 for the food to be delivered to start with. Was told by the young person answering the phones that after an hour it was going to arrive in 5 minutes. Twenty minutes later we called back and still no food! Told by the same call taker that he thinks our food is on its way. After an hour and fourty we called back and asked to speak to a manager and this young call taker relayed the question to another member of staff and said ‘shall I just tell her no!?’ Like I said.. the food was delicious but the member of staff in question needs a lesson or two in customer service or even just general manners! Food arrived with a meal missing so restaurant sent the missing meal with a £5 refund so they did try to rectify the issue.

After living in China for a long time, this take away has the most authentic taste compared back to my second home! Very delicious and the menu is varied enough to cater for all tastes.

We ordered a large meal for a birthday (£77)The order was reread to us when placed and yet they still forgot the chips. When we phoned to tell them we were met with a hostile response, so never actually got the chips.The Lemon Chicken was pink in the middle and the sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style was cold. Not impressed at all!!!

One of the best Chinese Takeaways I've ever had. I've tried most of the Chinese offerings in Billericay and this is a 10/10 for me. Food delivery is quick, food is hot, generous portion sizes, no grease and it's absolutely delicious

The absolute best Chinese around. The staff are so professional and nothing is too much trouble. Even when they are busy they don't rush you. I always pay by card and they never make a fuse about it. The delivery time (even when busy) is so quick. The food is delicious and warm. Outstanding all around in my eyes. Thank you for never disappointing us.
