Very disappointed. Have been going here for years, but wont be back. My daughter (16) asked for large chips, sausage and saveloy. Charged £12. I said it was expensive for what we asked for. Checked the meal, they had given 2 x Cod. Returned to explain and was met with stroppy, rude staff. They were adamant she had asked for Cod, she is 16, she knows what she asked for! Other 3 members of staff stared rudely with disgust at us. They did give us the money back, told us to keep the Cod as we had 'Opened' it. Got the food home, it was very dissapointing. Chips werent even a large portion and tasted like they had been in the fryer all day. Will not be returning!!!

Absolutely fabulous meal from Pisces Fish bar tonight 3cods 1 skate Cod Roe cups & mushy peas all top quality food & service with a smile. Amazing every time 🥂

Struggling to keep up with the new covid rules. I pre ordered food and when I arrived I was told to wait in a large queue, longer than the people ordering on the normal queue. If you are thinking about pre ordering, don't, complete waste of your time.I am now updating this review as I feel I was a little harsh with 1 star. Whilst I still think that they could do better with organising the pre ordered food, the food itself is really nice.

Fantastic fish n chips! Cooked to order and absolutely delicious. Batter was very light and crisp and not at all greasy and fish super tasty. Chips were gorgeous - crisp on the outside and floury and flavoursome on the inside! A well deserved 5 stars!

I find one particular member of staff quite rude now and this is based on the last few visits. The food is good but the service is not. This place is not as good as it used to be and now visits the Britannia fish bar which although a little more relaxed they offer great service too. Probably wont go to Pisces anymore based on previous experience which wasn’t the best especially Saturday night just gone.

Best fish and chips in town! Fresh food cooked with care. Taste is second to none. The fish is fantastic. Particularly the cod, it's so flavoursome and moist. Flakey and in the best batter. Portions are a very good size. Staff are really friendly and happy to help. Can be busy be sure to check the listing above for busy times and try to beat the crowds. Worth the queue even if you don't beat them. Don't miss out, it's the only place I go for fish and chips
