We visited with a party of 30 people in January for our delayed Christmas bash. Originally booked prior to Christmas but had to delay due to COVID, no issues with the rescheduling. The food and service was of a very high standard. The manager on duty that evening (Dan) was very helpful and organised a small area for us to have drinks after our meal just off the main bar. A great evening and I would recommend for larger parties.

Afternoon Tea Birthday party for 17 people. During the experience from start to finish there were bumps on the way and not as smooth sailing as we would have liked it to be. But staff and management stayed professional and done what they could to make up for the bump’s. The Afternoon Tea it’s self was nice and plenty of it. Though the scones were quite dry and crumbly.Main thing is that the Birthday girl was happy.

It was ok but not great. We asked for and paid £120.00 deposit for a roped off area for our Christmas party but were told we had to stay at our table for the duration , 4 hours!! No bar open. I would have thought this should have been mentioned when we booked it the day before. We certainly would not have completed the booking. Food was good.

My Grandparents and I had a fantastic lunch today - one in a wheelchair, and we couldn't praise the venue and staff enough. So friendly from the opening of the main door highlighting the disabled toilet for us, and opening all doors to walk us to our table. We had a lovely round table and was accommodated throughout. The staff were very friendly and of a high standard. After seeing the large portions coming out to other tables, we asked for a smaller portion for one of our party which was provided without an issue. Amazing value for money and we cannot fault. Thank you so much for a great lunch

We visited on a Monday night on a travel zoo voucher and was very pleased with the food and service. It was very quiet, only us and one other table. The decor is nice. And although a limited vegetarian choice. Two starters and one main choice. However It was very tasty. We had between us the spicy carrot soup, the beetroot carpacio and the cauliflower steak. I've never had cauliflower so nice and doubt I will again! The waitress was great too.

We had Xmas day here. £75 per head. We were put in the functions room which to me spelt danger from past experiences there. You just don't get the same service in this room. Even though the 3 courses were well presented the mains weren't that great. Turkey far to thick and dry. Our table was never cleared of glasses which made eating more difficult. Think the waiting staff were friends of staff as we're just told to give food out and collect plates. There were 20 adults and a few kids and the bill was well over £2000 without all drinks going on bill. We went there for mother's Day which was the same. Not great. Don't think I'll be going back for anymore big sit downs there as they just can't cope but will take your money.

Food was very average, not a great menu for a restaurant ,menu was more like a bar/pub menu with things like burgers was expecting a lot better to be honest. I had the thai chicken with sweet chilli sauce.i didn't get the sauce and after having to ask for it, it come with some horrible green sauce ! I think they should look at their menu and completely change it in my opinion. As for the bar areas, they were good, and I would recommend to come for a party or a drink just not the food!

Great evening and food .... 3 courses for £29.95 pp on valentines night including amazing fillet steak... food quality was 5 star!Service great too although a little slow due to restaurant being really busyA good idea for Reids would be that the person seating u could offer u a drink to save u waiting more than 20 minutes for a server to come and get your drinks order and then wait some more... avoid dry mouth 😬⚘
