Slipped Disc's & Brown Sugar in Basildon

It is a very friendly cafe and they love dogs, so many old vinal recards for sale and great coffee.

Great place for music and art lovers with a nice cafe. The stuff are very helpful and friendly. If there's music you can't find anywhere else they will be sure to find it. Also check out the Artwork.

Enjoyed my visit, could of spent hours in there. On a minus side the shop does need some tidying up as i had to move boxes to look at some vinyl

Carl is amazing, I was a long time goer of Slipped Disc and now to have my 2 favourite things, music and Coffee under 1 roof is a time saving god send. Carl will go above and beyond to get any album or single you need and the Brown Sugar Staff and polite and welcoming

Gave Brown Sugar a chance for breakfast on a Saturday morning (10:30) not particularly busy, but had to wait 10 minutes for a coffee and then follow up breakfast order. That being said, the manager came over and apologised with a refund and two coffee cards. Seems like a bad day, so will give it another go, but not the best first impression. Food and coffee nice when arrived.

Really nice cafe at the back of the shop with great tasting food - I had a great panini with brie, bacon and avocado and great selection of drinks and snacks, plus amazing cake. Decent size area for outdoor dining, and a big open space inside too when able to reopen. I would highly recommend.
