Friendly staff. Excellent pub. Would definitely recommend to friends. Staff make customers feel safe day and night. Door staff do a great job . Great variety of music. I've always had a brilliant time when I've been to this pub club.

Love this place! They do events for all ages, drinks are reasonably priced with drink deals most evenings and a great place to have a dance on the weekends!!!

Well not even worth the 1 star!! STAY AWAYDirty, over rated & for £6 entry not worth it. Advertised as being the only pub club in Abingdon, the only place to be at weekends. I expected more & hoped for better. My arse is it anymore than a youth club!! I've seen better & not how I remember AbingdonStaff are slow & know nothing of customer service. Drinks served in warm plastic cups which says everything about the type of people who come in that they can't even trust a decent pint glass to the over paying customers. Didn't stay long but long enough to see all & hear how the Aussy boss man can sort me out with drugs & is a dirty perv that likes the youngsters. Nice little letter to the council & police will follow this after my poor experience. Very disappointed to say the least. You should be ashamed

Lovely old fashioned pub with a club feel on the weekends. Nice little treat for a small town like abingdon. Staff are warm, Welcoming and provide good customer service! Good selection of drinks. 🤩

The blue boar is a great late night bar. Dancing and drinks. What more could you ask for. Brilliant night out. Will defo be back next week. Thanks to all the staff there for making it a great night.

Fantastic pub, friendly staff and brilliant atmosphere. The owner Darren is such a brilliant host and always makes us feel welcome.

Very nice experience! Had a lot of fun with my friends the other night! The owner even gave us a free shot because he liked us! Definitely would come over again!

Well where to begin? If you like your drinks served in plastic cups, with no ice, and having to queue for them like a herd of cattle, then it’s a winning place, the metal barriers?? (I’m not joking) are a very odd feature to say the least, oh let’s not forget the sticky floors and dirty toilets, and now it appears an unjustified entry fee for this pub??!! The high prices of drinks also don’t match the establishments general low grade vibe, the place definitely has a youth club feel, now I’m only in my twenties and know this pub is probably targeting the younger clientele, but its definitely alienating the drinker who wants a bit more of a proper night out, a wider selection of drinks, cold drinks? A decent vibe? Friendly atmosphere? Most of the staff look fed up, friendly enough tho, but not like they are enjoying their job, the outside area, which you can’t take drinks out to ( unless your a member of staff and referred to as special as I witnessed when one punter queried why a certain lady was allowed to drink outside when nobody else was) comprises of beat up old sofas, and some picnic tables, now I know that we’re all glad to able to go out again and enjoy ourselves, but this place seriously needs to up its game. And there’s no point in the bar staff posting great reviews and pretending to be customers, which I noticed has happened below, because when a customer visits they will realise they have been misled to a very high degree, and be very disappointed. A clean pub with a more professional set up and ice would be a start!!!!

Great staff behind the bar fantastic atmosphere bang music. Great door staff too felt safe knowing that they was on the ball all the time. Will be going back there again for a good night

Absolutely brilliant! Love the staff, always so friendly. Love a good boogie on a Friday and Saturday night. Drag Bingo in the week is always a laugh <3
