Amazing Chips and Saveloys and highly recommend the curry sauce.

I live in London so I always stop off here after a day out at Southend. It is THE BEST fish & chips for miles. The owner is an original London chippie owner and believe me he knows his stuff. They get it right all the time.

So sorry for this review, but can only go by what I got at the time.Unfortunately my chips was saggy and re-cooked, my battered sausage was chewy n soggy, saverloy was blaned.I also ordered for other people, they also was not happy with there items I got them.So I guess we won't go there again.

It wasn't a great experience of a traditional Fish and chips. Firstly, fish was too oily, and tasted like it was cooked long before my arrival. Chips had exactly the same problem - oil. So guys, please change it once in a while it really helps.

Great fish and chips, always pipping hot, good size portions, and reasonably price, and as they say you get what you pay for. In one word PERFECT

New owners in 2017 and the food has improved. I now use this as my prefered chip shop over the one near to where I live.Chips are now brown(ish) rather than that barely cooked white most places offer and the fish tastes great.Only bad thing and this may be personal taste is the sausages are awful so I'd avoid those.Recommended to anyone locally.
