Really great service from the waitress who was super polite, friendly and funny. The food arrived within good time considering how busy it was as there were a number of children's parties on. The food was also tasty.

It was a better experience than last time we visited. The restaurant was quieter, so easier to talk and easier to hear the staff. Our server Frankie, was very good. The GF menu information was useless though. The on line only list works well for vegans and vegetarians, but no-one else.

Good atmosphere. Good food, although I felt a few additional options like onion rings would be nice. Quite a few things not available including coffee! Our starters were wrong and this could have turned out to be a mediocre meal. However, our waitress, Sophie, made all the difference, pleasant and funny, this was a very enjoyable evening.

Abbie was excellent, and extremely prompt. She clearly had the needs of all the guests in the restaurant at her utmost interest, as she balanced our requests alongside the happy birthday songs she had to take part in. Tamzyn was checking the food quality that night and she clearly did a fantastic job as my steak was excellent and so many guests were smiling on recieving them. There have been times when I have visited other restaurants and steaks have been over cooked and it has ruined the meal for me- this really made my experience out of this world! Thank you all of Basildon Friday's for providing us the best Anniversary Meal!

As a family we are big TGI fans! We love the restaurant and have had many birthday meals at TGI basildon.Last night we opted for a takeaway from the Basildon restaurant. What we got for £74 was appalling. Our son had a plain beef burger kids meal - the bun was soaked in grease, fair play they are grilled but it was a soggy mess. With the kids meal you get a side of baked beans, so little beans they fitted on one spoon and could literally count them, hardly a meal for a child, one mere spoonful. The adults burger was the Louisiana burger meal - it was really that squished in the box! Slimy and soggy and after a fue mouthfuls ended up in the bin.The side dips were teeny and yet only half full. All the chips looked as though they was fried, left out, re fried, left out and re fried. Multiple chips looked half eaten and many looked like odd bitten of ends chucked it to be fried.Everything had to be microwaved as cold. Will never ever order a take away TGI again, not worth £5! Let alone £74!

**DO NOT USE CLICK AND COLLECT FROM THIS RESTAURANT**Appalling service - arrived home to find we had the wrong order - drove back (15mins each way) given the ‘correct’ order and it wasn’t until got home again an hour later since placing order that we realised chips were missing from the order. After trying to call the restaurant over 8 times and not getting through we have wasted £44.75 as all the chicken was stone cold and had stickers advising not for re heating. What was meant to be a treat for the children ended up being a huge disappointment. Really angry at the service received.

First time visit to a TGI and to be honest although the hard working staff were friendly we were disappointed with the food quality and the extremely long wait to get served. Our first drink order was taken 40 minutes after being seated (had to call a team member to order the drinks) & food arrived 1 hour 30 mins from arrival. The steak was a bit flat and not cooked as requested.I personally wouldn't return ☹️

Really Nice, love the new layout. Bright and friendly. Staff attentive, I loved my pasta dish. SVF and the garlic bread.

This is a great TGI’s restaurant. The staff here are very tentative and the food is excellent.Today I went for the Surf, Turf & Rack but sadly there was no ‘surf’ and I was given a sesame chicken alternative. All good as far as I’m concerned.Once again, I went for Vanilla Ice Cream with their Jack Daniels Glaze for dessert and it was amazing. Thanks again TGI’s.See you soon.

Great time here. Staff were really friendly. And even though there were sadly many things off the menu due to not getting there delivery's. The staff were excellent on making sure we had a 'Fridays' experience. Well done guys 👍👍👍👍👍
