Went there for Mother's day, myself and my daughter had the most amazing roast beef carvery. I've never had roast beef so tender. My husband and the half chicken roast, which was just as tender. Amazing, keep up the good work.

We had the gammon.salmon.Chicken .burger.dessert was apple crumble and sorbet.Coffees.We all enjoyed our food.Service was good.Would be nice if on menu would be jacket potatos.Had salad with burger.

Had Mother's Day meal here a day early. Food was of a high quality although the slow roasted pork belly was a bit cold and chewy.Would recommend and the deserts were fabulous.Good service as well 😊

Our waitress made my sons 18th very very special, I only mentioned it was his birthday in passing, she had the whole pub singing happy birthday to him. I can't remember her name but she was brilliant, lovely family pub. Food excellent

Went for Sunday lunch at 4pm. Service was friendly and food was great and plenty too. There was a dog on the bar so think it is dog friendly too. We will deffo revisit so worth a try for you all too!

Lovely place to dine. Very friendly team and food is delicious. I tried the carbonara pizza which I highly recommend! Many thanks to Leanne, Dawn, Jordan, Jess, Sam and also the chefs of the evening Chris and Sam. Amazing service, amazing food. Look forward to visiting again x

Very nice place. Had a lovely waitress who played with our two year old and got her crayons to keep her occupied. Food was lovely. Overall, a family friendly place with great food. Will go again.

Service from waitress was excellent.Food was ok nice starter and partners roast pretty good,but disappointed with 'triple cooked' chips as they were heavy and not properly cooked once let alone 3 times.Desert was a really nice touch and we'll appreciated with a Happy birthday message

Always amazing food - our favourite restaurant in Essex. The menus are great and the food quality is outstanding. Visited again for my grandads birthday and were served by Keith who made it really special - super attentive, gave menu recommendations which we all loved and arranged for the staff to sing happy birthday which really made the night. Thanks so much all!

I had the house burger which was delicious. My wife and friends had the pie. They all agreed the meat inside was delicious but the pie crust was a bit tough. It also needed more vegetables. The pie was placed on a bed of mash served with 1 carrot. peas are a very cheap addition to any meal. presentation was very good and our waitress needs mentioning as she was excellent a great asset.
