Al's Plaice in Bedford

How can you review a delivery place when they put the phone down on you then don't answer when you call back. The online menu states no food available unless you want chips 😔. Plus what takeaway/delivery place shuts at 20.30. Utter joke

Brilliant fish and chips but nuggets and sausage are sadly midFriendly staff but not in the best of locations

Quality fish and chips with friendly service

Best fish and chips! Always delivered hot, fluffy yet crispy chips, beautifully fried cod (no skin), reasonable prices, large portions. Definitely recommend! No other Bedford chippy comes close to Tasty Plaice!

Our 1st time ordering from here tonight. We had plaice & cod with chips. The cod was a really good size for a small. The battery was perfect! And the chips where the best we have had! Will be using you again!

I've been using this chippy for a while now and decided to write a review. I must say the food is amazing, fresh and well presented. The food is always delivered on time and piping hot. Since I've been going the staff have always been friendly and polite. I thank them for being open during the pandemic, Fridays wouldn't be the same without a chippy night!

We order regularly from Tasty Plaice and its consistently great!! Good food, great price, very speedy delivery, fab delivery staff...5🌟

We used to use Denmark St but have switched to Tasty Plaice. Chips are best ever. Fish light and fluffy. Kebab meat is sooo good. Delivery is excellent.

After it was taken over a while ago, we gave them a try, great food, it's over the road, you can order on the app and they tell you it's ready so there's no hanging around waiting. A good selection of the usual chip shop stuff and more, friendly staff and the place always looks clean and tidy.

Just had first meal delivered large Donner, Haddock , Hot chicken wings and chips? Although a little mix up with order the food was Excellent Fish best I have had for a long time and Hubby said Donner tasty. Delivery very good as we live out in the sticks. Look forward to our next meal. A*
