Have ordered takeaway several times from here and never been disappointed, however that's just changed. Ordered one tonight. Took nearly 2 hours to arrive and when it did, 2 dishes were missing. When we called to inform them, the conversation was hard work, and the phone was passed around. Finally told they were very busy tonight and had new kitchen staff?? Well the food was very disappointing, watery and not very tasty. If this is the new kitchen staff then we'll not order again. Plus don't blame others when a customer complains and just deal with it properly! Asked for compensation and was told no to start with, then finally offered 2 popadoms π

Our long time favourite Bedford curry house. Been going there 15 years and has almost always been delectable. Friendly staff and a good range of more interesting chef specials like the naganzi (not for the faint hearted).Alamin was a pioneer in reducing the fat and salt content in their curries years ago and they've proven they can still make them taste great.

Just had the most awful curry delivered. The meal was cold/luke warm. The biryani rice cold, the korma chicken luke warm, the veg curry luke warm, the keema naan even in a foil bag luke warm, the onion bhaji so soaked in oil it was uneatable. Only thing edibble was the poppadum and the green mint sauce. Rung to complain basically was told well if you order again might give you some discount. So worried about eating the luke warm chicken in both the korma and the biryani that it all went in bin. I didn't want to risk eating the food. Manager not interested he had his money and never mind the disgusting food. I don't understand how I can live only 5 minutes away from the restaurant and the food was cold and unedible. Read the reviews and am very surprised that I was given such bad food. Won't be ordering ever again from here.

Our favourite Indian restaurant in Bedford. Been coming in for years. Took my Mum in recently as she came to stay with us. Over 90 and still exploring new foodπAs always the service is amazing-such a friendly and hospitable team and the food is reliably good. If you've not tried here, give it a go

In my opinion, the best in Bedford. The owner, with his many years experience as a restauranteur, is a really nice guy, and his staff are very friendly and professional. The food is amazing (trying to work my way through the menu!) and the service is second to none. The Alamin restaurant has a nice homely atmosphere, so do give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Top quality food. Been going to The Alamin for 10 years. Hadn't been for 4 years, went again last night with a huge group and they were incredible. Everyone complimented the food and the service was excellent. Bargain prices too. Hugely the recommended.
