Found Andy's Chip shop a couple of months ago, really enjoy the food and the service. Sometimes there's a queue but they are pretty speedy, so you don't wait too long.

Excellent service, very clean surroundings and sanitised inside often through out the day, screen dividers at the checkout. Large menu plus food is Hot and tasty, good value for your money here

Picking the large chips, although they're £3.80 there is enough there for maybe 4 grown adults. The fish was good, but there wasn't much chicken. Staff were kind, would go again :)

Went here about 10 years ago with my stepfather who grew up in bedford... Glad to see when I get married I'll be able to bring my family here. Best flaky fried fish there is. Fried mars bars were also the best, so rich and decadent!

Tasty fair square meal at a fair Square price. This fish and chip shop, I have been visiting for 40 years now and it is as good today as it was back then. One of the fairest and nicest chippys in the country, in my view. This chippy is a must try

Quality fish n chips. Chips are fried perfectly, not soggy or excessively greasy. Fish was excellent, crispy and succulent.Why only 4 stars? A standard portion of fish and chips could easily feed 2 adults, maybe a child too, so if you're watching your waistline I'd opt for a small or half portion of chips.Free parking spaces approx. 20 paces from the front door. Covid measures in plaice(!) and an excellent queuing system has you in and out in moments few.
